IE is in the system files, if it got removed some how you could reinstall it through add/remove programs.

It was just a random thing, of course you could do that, or if you're less computer savvy, like myself, go get a Free AOL ZomgLolololOLololoOLol300hrz! Disc and pop it in, use it to download something that doesn't suck.
