Of course, if we're just saying "culture", a thousand "hip hops" won't make up for Princess Di.

IF I ever end up in the UK and see a "thugged out" Brit, driving in his fly whip, listening to hip-hop with bass thumping I think I'm going to bust a gut pointing and laughing.

They do exist. And I do laugh.

Don't forget that you guys gave us Jerry Springer. I am sure that He at least makes up for Coldplay.

Is it just me or do all of their popular songs go:
Taa-ta-ta Taa-ta-ta Taa-ta Taa-ta-ta Taa-ta-ta Taa-ta
Taa-ta-ta Taa-ta-ta Taa-ta Taa-ta-ta Taa-ta-ta Taa-ta

And then some guy starts whining

And then it's over?

Not all of coldplay's songs are annoying like that.

There are three that are standable:

Yellow
Fix You
Talk

The rest are somewhat annoying.

That would be Clocks and yes all but the three I named and a couple others, they do sound like it.

That particular rhythm is "Clocks," I believe.

Are you talking about "Clocks"? Because if so, I agree.

I'd like thank Great Britian for the two and a half centuries of advances in modern denistry that occurred in this country, due to the fact so many of you came over here and there was a plethora of fu[black][/black]cked up sets of teeth in our gene pools.

Bully.

I like the video for The Scientist where everything is happening in reverse. And as far as Coldplay songs go, it's not half bad.

We don't like change.

Still it provides us with some respite from American Gangsta's announcing their intentions to "pop a cap" in someone’s rear end.

That’s the wonderful thing about the English language being so widespread. It encourages originality. Smiley: wink

Shakespeare would be spinning in his grave.
