Man Swallowed By Sink Hole in Own Home

As if we don't have enough to worry about. You're in your house, you hear a noise, and you go into your living room, and a giant whole opens up in the floor. This poor ******* just falls from his living room 20 feet underground and dies. That must have been terrifying. Life is weirder than fiction sometimes.

Yikes! That's scary. I live on a fault line so supposedly in the next 10 years my house will drop 20 feet in less than 3 minutes or something like that.

I ain't afraid of no stinkin earthquake...

I really do worry about stupid crap all the time. I was contemplating making a special trip to the store last night when I realized that I didn't have any bottled water and that we might be in trouble if quarantined for bird flu. At least I live in a state where most of the ground is granite.

My mom didn't cook a turkey for Thanksgiving last year because she was afraid of bird flu. Smiley: disappointed

Look at the bright side, with that hole and the life insurance money, his wife can surely get that indoor, inground pool she wanted. Smiley: dubious

Now, there's no data to say it's because they weren't quarentining themselves, but that's an awefully long time to be prepared for.

I'm really struggling to find the context for this statement. Most people died within the first 90 days of - what?

My guess in the Spanish Flu. What connection he finds there might be between gaping holes and the Spanish Flu is not clear.

Though I might add, I only guessed Spanish Flu because Lion Attack was already taken.

Bird flu?

As for worrying about stuff, I eat expired food all the time, plus I work at a hospital and rely on plain soap and water to kill the germies. I handle raw chicken and I eat sushi. I suspect that when Judgement Day comes, my antibodies will be nails, and I'll outlive all you pansies.
