The Asylum confuses me. Seriously, it is beyond my intellectual comprehension.

The thing is, I can understand rating down single posts for being completely innane, pointless or retarded, and I do so at my leisure. But I don't abuse the power.

You have been the exception so far in my short stint back into the Asylum, and it's been interesting finding my faults in battling you, even though that made up PM was SO fûcking retarded I couldn't help but laugh AT it...that's right, not WITH it.

So though you think you may have bested me, and in some cases you did, you stretched too far with that one.

I used to have respect for you (to which you'll respond "I could care less") but after that...HA. I only hope I'm as cool as you are when I'm your ripe ole' age of what, 50? GFY.

I had to check the date on this thread. I didn't know people still cried this much about Karma without being in Forum=28 or 6969.

No you aren't goose. At least it doesn't say you are in teh flag section, and that's what the rate button checks against. Might want to try logging out and logging back in. If that doesn't work, PM illia about it.

You haven't. Not once have I brought emotions into this thread, talking about fairness or how you've hurt my feelings. After all, it IS the internet. I'll never meet you people in real life (if I'm lucky), so it's not like I'm going to cry myself to sleep tonight.

You'd think with all the intelligent discussions in this forum that happen every day, and all the quick, witty comebacks you guys would all have something better to do than this ********* I say something that grates your nerves, you respond with not only a verbal response, but there's the need to use that rate button.

The rate button isn't there for your pleasure. It's grown into this sick, twisted and maniacal(sp?) tool to become the "leet" kids on the block, stepping on everyone else to do so. The way I see it, its intended use was to completely black out people that had NOTHING to add to the conversation besides random, useless, BS things, mostly for blocking out biggotry, sexism and those people who use profanity way too much. It also seems to have been developed to give bright flashy color to people's names who've contributed extremely nicely to conversations, or helped someone out when they need it.

Or and I completely wrong, and everyone in here got rated up for winning the "I have a bigger e-***** game"?
