Looks like a winner to me, about damn time too. Those guys are very hit or miss and the last few were bombs. They were about up for another good film (that or fade away with the legacy of Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back and Jersey Girl as the movies they went out with, ouch)

Indeed, good to see ol' Smitty puttig down the comics and getting back to making films.

*wanders off to download the other films again. Stupid hard drive wipe...*

Dude, it took him like, 2 years to finish "Evil that Men Do", and that was only 6 issues!!!

Well on "A Evening with Kevin Smith" Kevin Smith did say that he "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back" was basically Clerks 2. But he did say and this is very loose "I won't do a clerks 2 because of how old most of the cast is getting" Which is what looks like the movie is about.

I'm excited to see it. Hope Kevin Smith isn't running dry on **** and fart jokes.

There are so many levels on which this is wrong that to begin to go in to them would be an excersize in masochism. I will see it, as I saw all of the previous movies, and probably at some point buy it ('cuz I'm legit like that), but inside I will cry a little at for Kevin Smith and his utter lack of dignity (the part that's not crying for it will be thanking him for it).

Please, for the love of all that is holy, don't let Clerks 2 suck. August 18th can't come soon enough.

Speaking of "An Evening with..." anyone have any idea when the hell "Evening Harder" is coming out? I thought it was last Nov. but I haven't seen a release date for it in a good while.

Even if it was the best movie ever made, it still wouldn't be better than Dogma IMO

I don't think you understand the relationship between 'better' and 'best'

Hardly. It just makes you a f'ucking idiot who fails at formulating and conveying coherant thought in text.

I have to admit I have never seen Clerks 1. I have however, seen most of those Jay and Silent Bob movies. I guess the black and white never did it for me.

Don't let that stop you. Once you get past the fact that it is black and white, it's a fantastic film.
