I've been randomly cracking up all morning at the thought of Sam Jackson being made entirely out of snakes, haha. My coworkers think it's just the cold medicine.

Y'know, it's obviously a complex metaphor.

The snakes represent the oppressive forces of government which would stifle the power of the working class. And Samuel L. Jackson is a Jesus figure.

I can't believe people don't realize this.

Wait a tick. The plot is about a killer who lets loose a crate full of deadly snakes... on an airplane?

That's freakin genius.

Probably, but I hate that one inexplicably. One of my friends on myspace uses it too, so I can't escape it!

Now someone just needs to get an avatar of the weird alien baby and I'll be mortified at every turn!

I bet they stole it from me Smiley: mad

Ok, I'll change it to Generic_Avatar_003 from whatever I have pre-loaded here. One of the ole stand-bys.

You know why? Because I care. I care that you're going to buy me a drink in Boston.

Oh it's a real movie, and I'm so happy about it. It's one of those so-bad-that-it-will-have-to-be-good movies.

At one point, the film's working title was altered to Pacific Air Flight 121. In August 2005, a perturbed Samuel L. Jackson told an interviewer, "We're totally changing that back. That's the only reason I took the job: I read the title."[2] In another interview in early 2006, Jackson claimed that once he learned about the movie title being changed he said: "What are you doing here? It's not Gone with the Wind. It's not On the Waterfront. It's Snakes on a Plane!"

haha, I love him.

I just like the fact that the acronym for the movie is SOAP. I feel that this disambiguates the nature of the work.

So good...

Quote:
While re-shoots normally imply problems with a film, the producers opted to add new scenes to the film to take the movie from PG-13 into R-rated territory and bring the movie in line with the growing fan expectation. Among the reported additions is a line that originated as an Internet parody of Samuel L. Jackson's traditional movie persona: "I want these motherfuc[/cyan]king snakes off the motherfuc[/cyan]king plane!", although it was edited to "I have had it with these motherfuc[/cyan]king snakes on this motherfuc[/blue]king plane!"
