But this makes me want to try it out.

Yeah, I used to play the SIMS the same wayish. I got the cheat to have infinite money and what's a girl going to do with infinite money? Build a castle of course! Well what's a castle without a hedge maze? What's a hedge maze without the ghosts of dead children running around it?

If the sims had built in a way to have hundreds of ghosts of dead children without actually killing hundreds of sim children to get their tombstones for your dead kid grave yard...then I wouldn't have had to put them in a pool and build walls around it.

err..

I read a post somewhere back when Black & White first came out, that the poster was trying to make his creature as twisted as possible.

It's actually much easier to do than get them to be as good as possible- and it is quite fun to watch them eat the population, or pick your followers up and throw them against the mountain side. And of course there's always the random defacation on top of villagers and their homes.

I admit I used to put my Sims in rooms with no doors and no toilet - just so I could see them wet themselves. Oh the hilarity.

Ahh the memories. I think I'll reinstall that for old times sake.

One of the funner mods for the sims 2 is a voodoo doll, it lets kill anyone on your lot, make them love or hate anyone else, or make those little puddles, I cant remember, but it may allow you to make anyone a vampire as well.

I alway thought this was one of the better parts of the game.

I used to make heaps of people, trap them with just a fire place in a 4x6 rectangle. Then make one light the fire and with no floor, just grass, the thing lights up damn fast. Good times.

I always prefered to trap them in the kitchen with no cooking skill, and a cheap oven. Just to make it look like an accident.

I didn't want to be charged with simurder like y'all.

I had no idea this game had this kind of content, judging by the box-cover, I always thought it was some kind of a MMODS (Massive Multi-player online dating system).

You have to love a game that has, "A ghetto chair", "A clown painting", and spontaneous combustion.

that clown painting is how you call the sad clown. If you have that painting in your house and your sims get sad enough, the clown comes by and just makes more trouble. If you actually want your sims to get better that is.

also, if one of your sims dies, if there is another live sim when death comes, you can play paper rock scissors with death for the soul of the dead sim.

i've played that game way too much.

My wife loves the sims, she has all of the expansions for the first game, beta tested the online version (verrrry creepy, had to quit playing, people are nuts), and now is playing The Sims 2.

I have been playing The Sims a bit more too, since I quit EQ2. I like the solitude of the game and it sure doesn't suck time as much as EQ did.

I've been playing The Sims for quite a long time too. Had it when it first came out, have all the expansions, and then nearly sh*t myself when Sims 2 came out. It's plesant to play if you aren't in the mood to play MMORPG's. After a while, it does get a tad boring, so I get my kicks just by designing houses. It's fun starting from the ground up, especially w/ Sims 2 because you can do soooooo much. You can make porches and 3 floors and just all kinds of random goodies that were included with the latest version. It's a pretty fun game, but when you get bored - you get b-o-r-e-d.

You know, I played it a while back but the whining of the characters got on my nerves. Feed yourself, damn it! Smiley: mad

Also, the guy I was dating at the time was also playing, but with a different character. He asked me if I wanted to make a character, and I did. He then wanted our characters to meet and flirt and such. I told him I'd rather play on my own, and see what happened. Well, I went to bed and the next day this freak had my character and his living together in the same house. Freaked me out a bit. Thank God we broke up soon after.
