Story

Local NAACP President Danatus King lost his home in the hurricane and now rents a small house. He said residents who were lucky enough to still have their homes have no business demanding that their neighborhoods remain unchanged during rebuilding.

"It's not fair for some of us to have perfection while others suffer," he said. "If there's room across the road, put some more trailers over there. It's not an either-or."

I'm with King. I'm thinking if there is room on either side of the room, put trailors in both places.

I imagine people are somewhat expecting that a large number of the trailers will be sticking around for years to come. It doesn't really seem the most hopeful situation down there.

It would be a lot better if we had ever elected a single competent politician. As it is, all of our representatives are more concerned with stealing federal dollars than they are concerned with helping their constituents.

Someone used to have a sig quote that I liked: "Nothing is as permanent as a temporary solution."

Those trailers will be there until they're blown or washed away. Count on it.

A change in the ladyfriend's work schedule has resulted in a significant decrease in available WoW time. The most I've accomplished lately has been getting Pollyanna (the Lefty's mom version, not the abandoned spider) the Bite3 skill.

Iofiel probably has a ton of Double XP time logged -- I haven't played him since the priest-change patch.

Putting all those trailers in close proximity is just inviting a tornado.
