and it's snowing. Not just a dusting. Not the kind that lands and melts away. We have about 3/4 of an inch covering the ground. Enough if I was so inclined, I could go out and make a decent sized snowman. Last week it was up in the 70's and I was out puttering in the gardens in a skimpy tank top.

Yeah we got hit with golf ball size flakes this morning and now it seems to be hailing (small). None is sticking and there is still a T-Storm or two in the forcast for today.

April, come she will, when streams are ripe and swelled with rain
May, she will stay, resting in my arms again
June, she'll change her tune, in restless dreams she prowls the night
July, she will fly, and give no warning to her flight
August, die she must, the autumn winds blow chilling cold
September, I'll remember, a love once new has now grown old

I'm bored and hungry

you cant afford me.

Back in 97 we had a huge storm on April 1. I havent seen snow in April that covered the ground since. And its pissing me off even more because we had such a great taste of whats to come weather wise last week, I even start pulling out some of my teeshirts out of the summer clothes stored away. Now Im back to freezing.

It's raining pretty heavily over here. There were thundstorm watches most of last night and there was a rumor of a tornado watch as well. Very unusual weather for this time of the year.

The weather patterns here as of late seem very similar to what you are experiencing DSD.

Fun wow.

Well, today I would say it is about 75 degrees and completely sunny. However, I would rather deal with snow than the tornado-filled thunderstorms we have been getting lately. Ah, spring.

In other news, April 5th means that it is the day before I am a quarter of a century old. Yay birthdays.

I think we have had about 4 sunny days here in the Silcon Valley in the last month. I'm starting to think we somehow moved to Portland Oregon.

Yeah, I'm getting much of the same here in the north country. Last week was 60s and sunny...the past two day we got an inch of snow, and now it's 25 and flurrying again. And I was going to go do laundry. Smiley: glare

Down at the river, against the rocks?

Supposed to be scratching 60F today which is good because I need to get my garage cleaned out this evening. Anyone need a broken patio chair?

Yeah we got the snow earlier too (it was raining before that, also), but now I think its up to the 50's. Though there's a lot of wind chill, too.

Crazy weather, indeed. And unfortunately I had just gotten myself into summer mode.

Not so bad a little South DSD. It's snowing pretty hard, but it's melting when it hits the blacktop.

The little grass thats around my apartment has a slight dusting.

It will all be over soon ^^

It is nice here in the 40's and sunny. I am actually going camping in the UP of Michigan this weekend where it is 30 with 4-6 inches of snow.

Nah, the laundromat is on the other side of town, a mile away. I have to walk there with a duffel bag full of laundry, usually around 35lbs or so.
