I'm here.

What's what?

Today is Monday, March 27, 2006.

No, you are not dead yet. Hasn't the baby gotten here yet?

It never ends, not until your body decomposes or is incinerated.

You are supposed to be at the foot of your wife's bed, massaging her feet.

Edit: Good Gawd, man, if the baby isn't here yet, please just ask the doc to use the salad forks and yank that baby out.

You either have a newborn and are exhausted, or you don't have a newborn but should, and are exhausted.

Which is it?

Oh no...he's here alright.

Born last Tuesday, 5:30 pm. 10 hrs of labor only to be C-sectioned. 15 minutes later, BAM! Baby.

Hospital sucked, mom did awesome but is exhausted.
I've got pics, but I haven't got them off the camera yet.

Look...to be honest. I think newborn babies are freakin ugly. My little kid is the cutest freakin baby eva.

I rule.

I had a friend that went through around 12 hours of labor, only to end up with a C-Section. She was like "What was the freaking point of doing labor if we could have just short-cutted to the C-Section??? Smiley: motz" The doctor kept telling her that trying for natural labor was better for her and the baby. Good thing that the C-Section cut kept her down on her back because she was about to slug the guy...and the nurses...and her husband.

You'll be comforted to know that more and more doctors are short-cutting to the c-section to avoid lawsuits by ******* tired women.

They avoid C-section b/c it costs more. Plus the recovery time is a *****.
I only got yelled at 3 times during labor. Once for saying "You are doing great baby"
Once for smiling and the last time for putting my foot up on the corner of the bed after sitting in a chair for 7 hours.

Let me just say one thing to the women who haven't had kids yet.

EPIDURAL. That's all I have to say. It saves lives.

The aftermath of the c-section was completed unexpected. Somehow part of you thinks that they will just make a tiny cut, pop the baby out, and you will be good to go. For some reason we were completed unaware that cutting through your body, pulling something out of your uterus and then stapling everything back together would require recovery.
That's the one thing that is killing us right now. She is in alot of pain and will be for a week or so. Which means I am diaper *****, laundry *****, breakfast, lunch and dinner *****, dishes *****. In essence, nothing has changed.

I've come clsoe to running for the border twice now, but I've decided to stick around, for posterity's sake I guess.

Priest sucks. I've been playing Horde Warrior and actually loving it.
It's incredibly quiet being We.
