No, it wasn't worth saving a link to, but it's easy to summarize for you.

He was being a little ******* He used the word p e d o p h i l e in association with Kao's actual RL name IIRC, just because he knew it would get a reaction. When told not to do that again, he went far far out of his way to do it repeatedly, ignoring multiple warnings that he would be banned.

Kao doesn't like being called a child molester for some reason. Something to do with his RL job. Well, that and who DOES like being called that?

That, and he's a cowboy. He'll ban yer *** just for looking at him sideways. Don't you go messin with Kao unless you don't mind some bannination coming yer way. That feller's got one itchy trigger finger. Why, he's banned lots of twats over the years. There's Dracoid, which you already know about. Then there was Dracoid's first sock. And there was the second one, too. I think one of the other admins got the third one. But I lnow Kao mowed down the 4th through the 11th in a blast of sustained flame that left the little snagglepuss's creations a smoking pile of ruined footwear. So just watch yer step with that P word.

That's fair, as far as it goes; but he did literally beg to be banned. I'm not sure it should have been a shock to him, or that he had reason to assume it would be temporary.

You know, I've often thought it hypocritical that people get on Kao for popping his top and banning folk. IMHO, part of the Asylum charm is that we have a hair-trigger admin. It would be no fun to be an *** if your admin was a puss who just swallowed whatever you flung at him.

There's plenty of good reasons to be opposed to having admins ban people over personal disputes.
