Have any of you folks taken certification courses through New Horizons Computer Learning Center? Heard anything good/bad about them? I'm looking at getting some more certs and they have a center in the area.

Price isn't really a concern. My company is footing the bill for it.

My company uses New Horizons. I've taken a couple classes. Mostly .NET stuff. The classes were structured pretty well. I learned some nice things. They go over the material very quick, but in my experience the instructors have been open to questions and what not.

My advice is, if the company is paying for it, go ahead and take it. The worst that will happen is you'll hear some stuff you might already know. You'll know wheter or not you'll need the class for the certs after you take the first one.

Their labs are nice, well lit, comfortable chairs, reasonably fast PCs, but the quality of course varies wildly based on the instructor and his or her mastery of the course material.

I went through several New Horizons classes a few years ago. They were well structured and useful to me as a Programmer/Analyst.

Top Telly!

I love the fact that when the phone rings, they pick it up and without waiting to hear the other person speak, answer the call with "Have you tried turning it off and on again?"
