Purvis I've heard before. It's a grand ol southern name. As for the other, no idea.

Who would be that cruel as to name their kids Purvios or Quadrevion? The cruelest I'd go would be maybe naming my kid Miles Long S. or something like that.

It's just like everyone in Hollywood who thinks that it's creative or self-expressive to give their kid a screwed up name. Hello!!! Your child is not a canvas for your own ideas! Just because you want to 'express yourself' doesn't give you the right saddle your child with a name that will most likely torment them for the rest of their lives. So stupid. Plus you end up looking like a flippin' moron! Ergh.

Yup, Gwyneth Paltrow thought Apple was a cute short simple name for her daughter. I can't wait to see what she'll name her second child. If it's a boy, I hope it's Banana Hammock. Smiley: sly

Frank Zappa still has the title of "Craziest Name to Give an Offspring." Moonunit Zappa.

BTW Moonunit is a great name for a daughter. If I ever have a daughter I'd imagine it's going to be hard not to name her Moonunit.

Which suggests that you should probably not procreate. For that matter, lay off the ******** too. You might spill that one someone and contaminate them.

If I have a son, I'd like to name him "Sir"

This way, when he raises his hand in school and the teacher calls on him, he/she will have to say "Yes, Sir?"

On the other hand, naming a daughter "Madam" might not have the same effect... >.>

I knew of a guy named General Scott Zachary. From what I have heard, he used that to his advantage in his military career.

Just read a report that she is definitely having a boy and she wants to name him Mortimer. Her husband's name is Chris Martin. So the boy's name would be Mortimer Martin. That's a "kick my ***" sign for that boy.

And my new BG twink is named Pervis, who'da thunk it.

I've told this story before but, back when my sister used to do equestrian showing, there was always some card at the events who'd show-name their horse something like "I Wish I Was" or "If I Could Only Be"

Coming on now is number seventeen: "I Wish I Was", owned and ridden by Jane Smith...

Those horse-show people are a real hoot. Smiley: dubious
