I'm kind of curious as to how something like this would play out in Utah, where it's state law that if any establishment wants to sell liquor, it has to be a private club (complete with memberships).

Edit: Liquor stores don't have to be clubs, but they are state-owned, and the only place you can buy liquor outside of a club.

This arrest brought to you by the logic that passed seat belt laws.

Slippery slope, neh?

The fact is, you give a cowboy a gun and he's going to go out and act like a cowboy. You give him a gun and a badge and he suddenly turns into the worlds largest brown starfish. I suggest that we move Texas down by Mexico and leave the door open at night so the brown people can get in. That should teach em.

Could be wrong in this case of course (there are always exceptions), but most of the time I'm not.
Is that like the liberals who forced that rape law down in Georgia? Smiley: wink2

This is the best argument for Texas leaving the Union that I've ever heard.

Happily I just got the hell OUT of Texas!! Yeah being back up north where the sane people are!!

But in truth, in Texas I was certified (and still am for 2 more years.. lol) by the TABC. They.. are really tough down there. When we went to the classes for it, we were told they do this stuff all the time. The only reason this one made the news was because it was in a Hotel probably.

What it dosent say.. is also all those bartender's and waittresses, and the bar it self got heftly fines for it (500 min for the servers, 5000 for the bar's).

TABC also does things like... hire's teenager's give them fake ID's and send them into bar's. Will try and TRICK bar's into breaking rules, among other things. Its why.. well basicaly they are set up. To make sure nothing bad is happening.

What I think is worst about this, is I just came from Houston. Going to the store less than 2 miles away. I can garentee I say at least one person if not MORE who were in the driver's seat with a beer in their hands. I.. swear its a "I am a moron from Texas" thing..
