I think if you are looking for the movie to follow the Dark Phoenix saga you are going to be disappointed. I got the impression that they were taking the Dark Phoenix story line and combining it with Magneto's war on mankind and then coming up with a whole new tale.

I'm glad they are at least trying to put in more of the mutants if this is going to be the last movie. Sure I'ld like my favorites to get the most screen time, but at least they made the cut.

I'm wondering whose funeral that is they are attending in the trailer. At first I figured it was scenes of Jean's funeral from the end of the movie, but going back and rewatching the trailer, I didn't notice Scott in any of the clips other than the ones by the lake...

Spoiler:

My son worked background on X3. So I can tell you Angel is introduced his Dad is the private contractor to make Sentinels. Jean starts to turn Dark, theres one scene where she's harassing Stan the man. The script was being rewritten as they were filming cause Halle Berry wanted a bigger part. less wolverine but not to worry theres a wolverine movie in the works. I know a sentinnel attacks the school, scene he was in all the mutant children go running as the x-men fight it, of course i have no idea what the sentinnel(CG) looks like as it didnt exist on set.

Ooooo nifty. I didn't know that. I'd really like to see them tackle the whole weapon X and Origins story lines.

Same way that I'm willing to take on Colin Farrell, Jude Law and Heath Ledger. Smiley: inlove

Can I help? I've been in love with Heath and Colin for ages, and with Jude for even longer. All three are heart-stoppingly gorgeous and all three are great actors. But I've never really cared for Hugh Jackman much, to be honest. He seems full of himself.

I hate it when Marvel forgets that there are other characters to X-Men other than Wolverine.

I'm not a huge fan of him, I think he's overrated. I like the X-Men as a whole. These last two movies have been more "Wolverine and Friends" than "X-Men" just for him to get his own movie.

Then again, I'm special.

Does the sentinel come up out of the lake behind the school while they're having a picnic? And does Collossus pick up Wolverine and throw him at the sentinel (and invent the "fastball special")?

Cause that would be cool! ;)

Am I the only one lamenting the fact that Jubilee isn't a main character in the films?

That's so ghey.

Personally, I hope Colossus has more of a role in this one than in the last, but hey, I'm a Colossus fanboy.

However, I am pissed at how Juggsy looks. For Bob's sake, he looks like Ram Man from He-Man.

It is pretty ridiculous how many storylines they are squeezing, or rather, effing up, to put into this movie. But if Bolivar Trask is in the movie, hopefully the Sentis are too. If they are, I hope the design team doesn't **** up their look as bad as they did the other characters (except Mystique, that's hawt).

I think that's pretty much gauranteed.

It was back in May, It was a indoor stage set (Interior of the school) Halle and Hugh were in costume and Kelsey was on set but not in makeup/costume (think he was just visiting) It was the first time as a parent I wasn't allowed on set with my child I had to stay with some other parents in a seperate room and watch it on close circuit tv.
