I'll do the honors. I have to make sure to get flattering angles, or else you'll just whine until someone takes one that shows off your booty to its best advantage.

Hey all, I know I am not a usual poster here (and when I do I get the daylights beaten out of me) but I live in Boston and would be more than happy to let you know where all the cool bars and hot spots are.

He posted on the group forum that he wouldn't know for a little while longer. I really hope he can make it though!

You trying to stay at Maison Swank? My airfare/hotel total is running me around $400 from Chicago and I sure as hell ain't spending another four bills while I'm there.

I'm spending about $300 total I'm guessing, but then, I'm taking a bus and then splitting the hotel room with Nadenu. I'm also going to bring snacks for us, haha.

Smiley: rolleyes

I'm sure someone will let you sleep in their bathtub or something. Get Nobby drunk and seduce him.

There's no need for that, Kelvy.

I'm sure Boston has a YMCA or a homeless shelter or something Smiley: grin

Sorry if it seems like I'm being a Skeeter, but I have 2 main issues.

1) If I'm required to attend any formal Government meetings I have to go. To decline the invitation is considered resignation.

2) My organisation is merging with 3 others during the Summer. We have a 65% attrition rate, which means that 2 out of 3 employees will be made redundant. If I pick a short straw, a may have to pull back the $2K Bahstahn budget to pay for luxuries such as food, clothing, mortgage etc.

I'd say the odds on Nobby hitting Boston are about 75%. It may be as late as mid-late April before I can confirm.

Look on the bright side:

If I can't make it, it will be an anti-climax.
If I do show, I promise that will also be an anti-climax. Smiley: wink

Random observation: Listening to "Tusk" by FWM while looking at Nobby's avatar can send you into a paralyzed trance.

The MySpace site apparently hates me & logs me out every time I try to change pages or enter a post, so I'll just have to communicate here.

I'm still trying to figure out a way to squeeze this into the budget, which I've thrown a bit of a wrench into by insisting that my husband and I purchase a home in the very near future.

I'd really like to attend so I'll be doing what I can to do so.

In any event, I have a nonrefundable airline ticket and a nonrefundable hotel room. I might be spending two days sitting in my room watching Laguna Beach re-runs on the MTv, but I'll be doing it in Boston.

The hotel doesn't get MTV.
