It is such a solid movie, too bad a lot of people can't get over the whole 'gay' thing. It is one of those movies that just stick with you. It would be like refusing to watch Shawshank Redemption because Andy Dufrense spends the first part of the move getting raped by the 'Sisters'.

Clearly you have not found the huge yaoi fanbase out there... of which I am happily a part of. And yes, I'm quite female. And for those who are like "omg wtf is teh yaoi??"... it's gay manga/anime (Japanese comic books and animation). Yummeh.

Then I realized that not only do I not type like a ******, but I equally don't care. I don't care enough that I have to post about it. Cause that's just how much I don't care.

It comes down to this:

You smoke one d1ck, you're officially a **** for life. That goes double for actors pretending to do the down-low for a paycheck. And don't try to rationalize it by telling me they are doing it "for their art" or that they are supposedly humanizing ******.

If someone tells me they'll pay me $1milUSD to go off camera to insinuate and help pretend I'm smoking a pole, and I don't have to actually do the act, I think whatever you or anybody else thinks of me becomes blurred and irrelevant. Smiley: grin

Do you have any idea how many visits I can do to Taco Bell with 1 mil???

Eat too much of that ****, Ex, and you won't be needing any spit to lube your azzzzzz up. You'd be able to satisfy any number of sick fantasies with the gastrointestinal disorders that stuff produces-- brown KY, excessively wet Cleveland steamers, nappy fetishes...

Maybe...but I'm just itching to see the look on the Doc's face the day I have no choice but to get my prostate examined. I would say it's a cheaper visit since I'm self lubricating at that point, but I'm sure that it would balance out with getting his instruments and equip cleaned from the mix of said Brown KY and vomit.

What if they just aren't? Rubbing yourself against your wife isn't sex. Doesn't mean you nailed her. Making a movie about nailing Sigourney Weaver doesn't mean you'd touch her with a ten-foot pole. If you don't see the line between fantasy and reality, that's a whole different conversation.

She was kind of good looking in Galaxy Quest.

Only if that's how you've always done it. No one can tell the shadows in the cave about fire.

You gave me just as much of a hard time when I used this defense to bash Sidney Poitier for "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner".

Edit - but in reference to negros

I find homosexuals more human then most straight men I know. Why on Earth would they need humanizing? Perhaps if the media protrayed them as bigger jerks, straight men would be less threatened since they wouldn't feel as inadequate by comparison.

I didn't cry, surprisingly. I'm a total sap that cries at long distance telephone commercials usually. I did get a lump in my throat at one point, but I got over it. I'm a hard-as-nails ***** now I guess.

I didn't cry until the very end, the very last scene. Oh Ennis, poor guy. Smiley: cry

I still haven't seen this movie. Smiley: bah

From the few non-homophobes that have actually seen it, it sounds like a really good movie. Sucks that the two friends I go watch movies with ended up being retards.

Oh well....download!

The best part of the movie for me was when his wife realized he was gay for the first time. Just the pure awkwardness. Absolute best to see with a crowd because everyone had the same reaction to it and we all laughed at ourselves.
