Why are they so little? Did they over years adapt to there environment and need to be little? See the Japanese makes sense because they need to connserve space in Japan but Chinese that just nonsense.

Hmm, I think it is the american diet. How I see it, people in china eat a lot of rice and maybe not as much of other important foods. Thus, this leads to decreasement of maximum growth. It could be argued that proper nutrition is not the source, but just plain genetics. Though, all the chinese people I know are almost as tall as I am except for the ones that lived in china for the beginning of their lives. Coincidence? Maybe, maybe not.

Mono...Crimson...both of you are morons...he was trying to make a play on words, because Vietnam is on the same continent as China and people take their vitamins to stay healthy...smashed together, the words make 'Vietmens' or something to that affect...but anyway, please be more observant next time.

Mono is correct, the Chinesse had vast access to Carbohydrates but very little to Protein so although they became a highly inteligent race, carbs feeds the brain, they lacked in physical strength and growth, made by Protein.

Wheat versus rice consumption may have something to do with it. Knowing some rather tall people from India, they mentioned they came from a region which grows wheat instead of rice and that they observed this correlation.

Yes I heard how Chinese people are small because of what they eat there, if a chinese child was moved here sometime after they were born they might be as big as us? Thats a good idea! Somebody go grab a chinese baby from China then bring over here and in 20 years tell me how tall it is!
