Ok let me tell you, yes I still play the game, but the FF forums really have me fed up. Not to go into too much detail but here are a few points I'm sure most of you already know. 1. The average age of FF posters on allakhazam must be about 15 maybe 16. Me being 28 this mentality is a tad bit irritating (just a little...sarcasm) 2. I see the same post with a different title about 4-6 times per day, 3. well the first 2 points are enough that I don't really need to go on.
On the other hand, the assylum has been a bit of a saving grace. I haven't posted to much here because I rather enjoy reading the threads that you guys post. Thanks for the humor, it makes my 9 hours in the office seem like...well 9 hours in the office, but with a hint of in/sanity that the work doesn't provide.

It's much better than you. Fruit and Cake is for fairys, and the limeys.

Actually, I think you're supposed to say, "Hello, my name is FigNewton and I'm an FFXI player." We then respond, "Welcome, FigNewton!"

It's at that point the twelve step healing process can begin.

I wonder how many times you can copy and paste this response. Maybe that's what you are wondering as well.

Never actually considered myself to be an actual Newton. Besides cake is for Peasants. Let them eat cake. Is that Chips Ahoy?

It was more symbolic. However I'm not sure where they got the picture. Chips Ahoy tastes like chocolate dirt.

I would like a bit of sherbert.

I'm a big fan of Ernie and Bert.

I forgot to press my shirt.

I've been known to be a flirt.

God made dirt and dirt don't hurt!

Thank you, thank you!

No such thing, you will live with the stigma for all eternity. We may, however, forget about it and let you pretend to be one of the ordinary inmates if you don't rub it in our face to much. Otherwise like a pedaphile (oh no I said that word!)in prison we will be forced to *** rape you anytime we please. Just to teach you how it feels you understand, only Skeet likes to do it.

and btw, no one spells it 1337. Making it all numbers defeats the purpose of the "Haxor" language. Its meant to look distorted to confuse simple minds, so a simple l33t will be sufficient. If you disagree, please refer to all Quake 3 gods.

...i think the main reason you're getting tired of it is that you already KNOW all the stuff you pretty much need to know about the game at the time being. Most of the people on there now are new and in the same boat most of us were in when we started. Just lusting after information, and we suddenly find ourselves part of somthing else. yes, it is a new generation over there, but look back at the threads from October to January, you'll find the same ****. You've simply outgrown the nest and have flown the coop.

Also it seemed to me that the average age for people on there was 26, but that may be out-dated...and certainly seems to be.
