I've been away a lot. Teaching has got me swamped. I just moved into a new house. And baby-making is no walk in the park, I tell you.

What have you little Assylum kooks been up to? Has Thundra returned? Has anyone else left? Who rules? Who sucks?

How's mini-Moe?

Joph, has that team of lawyers laid a smack-down on your ex yet?

Skeet, have you bought a new banana-hammock for the summer season?

Gimme all the dirt...

Well now, Trunks, that would defeat the purpose of this post - which is to have other people give me the highlights. Also, I think I might run into some trouble trying to locate any of these "interesting looking posts" you speak of. Smiley: frown

Well, somebody's sockpuppet is out to get me again. Other than that, I just got off of a really bad case of strep throat, complete with a rash and migrains.

Also, I'm leaving tomorrow for a family reunion, and I'll be gone for about a week. Welcome back, Tare. Now hasta luego.

You started EQ again? Lol...I haven't played in ages!

The baby-making is tiring work and with moving and everything else I am totally exhausted. Things are fine though and I am starting to show now. I can't believe it's been 3.5 months already! My b/f and I decided to make it "offical" too, and we are off to Vegas to get married next month! Woo hoo!! Viva Las Vegas!

Lay $20 on black for me, Tare-- you know I'm good for it. Bet on black, as Samuel L. Jackson said. Always a good decision.

Legal counsel was as follows:
Prior to going to court, I'd need to offer her the chance for us both to go to mediation. If she refused or if that didn't work, we could go to court. Nevertheless, even in a perfect world, a visition hearing wouldn't be possible for at least two months. Refusing to hand over Jophiel Jr would result in me being in contempt of court, so that's not a good Plan A.

However, come September the ex gets two presents in the form of a petition to revisit the visitation agreement and a petition for child support. I didn't seek support originally because I was making the agreement as palatable as possible for her so I could get physical custody with a minimal fight and not risk going before a judge who'd create a less enjoyable settlement. It worked and, now that we've established a history of who has been doing what in Joph Jr's life, the attorney sees no reason why we shouldn't go after the ex for a couple hundred a month and no risk in attempting it.

So stuff is basicly on hold until the autumn and he'll be going down probably this weekend. I have visitation every other weekend which I intend to use as much as possible.

Oh, ugh, Joph. Since I've been gone, I didn't realize your ex wanted custody of your son. I'm sorry to hear it.

I remember you posting some other things about your less-than-stellar ex, Joph, and it still amazes me how she acts. My oldest son lives with his father 2 hours away. Sometimes it's hard for me to see him as often as I'd like (money, jobs, I have a crappy car...) but if I can't see him, we at least talk on the phone. I can't imagine going 138 days with no contact whatsoever.

Does you son want to see her? See, that would just tear me apart, knowing my son wanted to see his father, and he pretty much wanted no part of him.

I hope something nice, quiet and agreeable can be reached for your son's sake.

Woo congratulations Tare!! Do you have any morning sickness? Mine wasn't so bad but I've heard that if you have a boy you get it really bad. Out of all the months in pregnancy, you will find the 9th to be the equivalent of being tortured. +_+

Good luck with the wedding!

Torture, huh? Yowsah. No morning sickness really, just couple "green moments". Things are great.

Thanks for the well wishes, guys...I shall post some pics when I return.

Your bet is as good as placed, dear Totem. =)

Congratulations Tare, on both the baby and the wedding. You're very lucky!

P.S. Jophiel, just move up here we little Jophiel and be my second husband. I can see no flaws in that plan.
