Or just having a psychotic break...

President George W. Bush’s increasingly erratic behavior and wide mood swings has the halls of the West Wing buzzing lately as aides privately express growing concern over their leader’s state of mind.

In meetings with top aides and administration officials, the President goes from quoting the Bible in one breath to obscene tantrums against the media, Democrats and others that he classifies as “enemies of the state.”

Kind of like Stalin in the good old days. I'm sure he's just a few months away from killing military leaders he's afraid of.

I believe it. Did you see that press conference he gave back in April? He was fine while reading the scripted stuff, but when he took questions from the media, holy ****! He was rambling and stuttering like an alzheimer's patient.

In interviews with a number of White House staffers who were willing to talk off the record, a picture of an administration under siege has emerged, led by a man who declares his decisions to be “God’s will” and then tells aides to ******* over” anyone they consider to be an opponent of the administration.

“We’re at war, there’s no doubt about it. What I don’t know anymore is just who the enemy might be,” says one troubled White House aide. “We seem to spend more time trying to destroy John Kerry than al Qaeda and our enemies list just keeps growing and growing.”

Excellent.

Hmm, could be. Fortunately I got Penecillin in time and never got to find out! In Thailand they call syphillis bok chi di cup, which translates to "Little unhappy helmeted snake."

Wow! Say it aint so Smash! And Capital Hill Blue is such an unbiased presenter of stories like this...

Lookit that! More stuff that's "off the record", from unnamed aides, that can't be confirmed by anyone.

Is this becoming an epidemic among the Democrats? Get so desperate that you just make stuff up and attribute the statements to people who can't be called to account for them? Again. How incredibly convenient! And even more so that this is exactly the kind of environment that the Dems want everyone to think the White House is. Heck, they even stuck in the idea that Bush is following "God's Will".

Look. When someone comes out "on the record", then we can talk. Until then, this is pure hearsay. And amazingly redundant hearsay since this is all the same stuff that the Dems have been trying to claim is going on for months now. How convenient is it that a reporter for a Dem slanted rag happens to get off the record statements from White House aids that happen to say exactly what the Dems want! Amazing...

Nah I just figured that since you, Stok, and Toem link about eighty percent of what's written on Townhall.com to this forum I'd show you what it looked like from the other side.

See why I have problems with it now?

Grats on being the first one to bite at the bait. I know Stok read it and said "Come now, I'm not THAT easy."

Not really "biting the bait", so much as knowing that if I don't say something, some of the numbskulls who read this forum will come away thinking that was a legitimate news source...

And I'd like to point out for the record that I personally have never linked an article from Townhall.com... Or if I did, I don't remember doing it, and if that was good enough for Ronnie, it's good enough for me. ;)

You do recall that nutball site that only published non peer reviewed articles, though I hope.

I bet you have linked some Townhall stuff too, but I'm too lazy to check, so I'll take you at your ever dubious word on that one, old man.

Kerry is actually a Voodoo Shaman and is using black magik to drive Dubya's already feeble mind over the edge. I know this for a fact--I sold Kerry the kitten ********* required for this and other nasty little tricks. Liberals are actually quite proficient in the black arts. The *****, I mean, the right wingers worship their demigod GREENSPAN who controls various thieving soda and candy machines the world over.

It was laughable at best. It was not worth the time with the other discussions taking place elsewhere.

I'm glad to see someone else took the bait though.

I though Bush did a good job with the Tom Brokaw (sp?) discussion the other day, just talkin' like a regular person, "from the heart".

Maybe he gets nervous in front of a big group, all alone at a podium in the middle of a stage... A fear of a sniper or something like that maybe?

Badnarik isn't afraid. He wants to wear his gun during his inauguration if he's elected. Maybe I'll vote for him.

Bush does well when his team gets the questions a week in advance and just throws away the ones they don't want to answer then rehearses him day after after day on the ones they do want to answer.

I can't wait for a Kerry/Bush debate.

The sad thing is that it is still just a "good" job, nothing great or impressive. You'd think that if he was practicing for a week he'd be able to give some kind of award-winning speech; one that would knock your socks on your ath.

Do you not want to see Badnarik, or are you already accepting the fact that he won't be invited to take the stage for more than one debate (if that)?

I'm guessing that you just don't care, or are accepting the fact that most people just don't care, which makes it acceptable to leave him out. Don't worry, I understand. ô_ô

I suppose that it does make sense to just concentrate on Bush/Kerry during posts though, since it would be foolish to try to include all those wacky third party candidates. Who listens to the guy from "The Constitution Party" anyways?

Err... sorry for getting off topic... yeah... Bush is going crazy or something.

Hey, just because it's from a biased source doesn't make it automatically false!!

I could see Bush referring to "God's will" about the Tennet resignation, can't you?

Man, I can't wait untill his book comes out in September, thta's going to kill Bush.

I mean, gee, I hope Tennet finds something to do with his time now.

The Clinton's want Bush to win, I imagine. Hillary in '08 looks a lot better than Hillary in '12.

You people would never let a woman get the nomination. Stop the crazy talk right now!

Besides Ms. Dole will be 72 in '08. I don't think she'd want the job.

I'd wager against that but '08 is a little bit too far away. Heck if we have a black Secretary of State what's to stop us from letting a woman think she could run things for awhile. Hell we've let a man with Alzhiemers be in charge and he did a bang up job.
