No, there were large problems. They included the split of time zones, and the casual vs. serious raiding issues. I was there for all of that. I was an officer for more than a year, and I basically ran the guild when Kozz went MIA leaving only me and Inconnu able to tag.

Now here is where the guild went bad, in my opinion. Caddila went and recruited Marly, Aveylon,Jannessa, Kaneko and Lolie. These five and herself changed the chemistry of guild chat. People were griping to me about it, seeing as how I was an officer and supposedly an important part of the guild.

I went public about it and the **** hit the fan. You would have thought that I was the only person who felt this way by the reaction. I was ganged up on by the above...all of which were new members and was given no back up by my supposed friends.

Then Druan quit as guild leader and Caddila deguilded (for the third time I think) This was the real turning point. Valkyrie was given (in druans words) temporary leadership which she used to appoint herself as permanent guild leader. Then she let Caddila back in, and I was against it. You, Val, Corb and others were for it. She gets back in due to people having multiple accounts and voting multiple times (corbulo x2 for instance)

After truly bungling the job as guild leader Valkyrie hands it over to you....once again no vote needed. If you remember I was the first to congratulate you in guild chat. I even sent you a celebratory tell because I figured you sure as hell would have to be a better guild leader than Val.

Then on our board I attacked Val and Twink after being harassed by them for weeks. You responded by guild removing not just me, but my brother as well. Then you created an alliance with FN. This proved to be one of FN's better recruitment drives as it was almost no time before almost all of our european presence had defected.

Combine this with the 15 or so people who went with me to FoS mind you...

Now during this period you were losing people left and right...and how many people were coming in? None. Why? Because without thinking you guild removed the person who had done 90 percent of the recruiting for the last year. Say what you want about me, but I am a hell of a recruiter.

So Kozz is the recruiting officer now...quiet introverted Kozz. So no one is coming in, Caddila and her cronies whom you and Val chose over me have all deguilded and mostly gone to FN. Guild membership is at a two year low...so what do you do? You step down as leader, quit the guild and Join FN. Bravo!

This is where Jinyx stepped in and tried to get things going in the right direction. He offered a chance to let the two guilds join. Of course Val and Co. would not let this happen and I failed the vote I helped install. Ironic? Yes. At this point I quit EQ. All for the good I guess.

So...after having to deal with Val, Twink and such (Jinyx's words not mine) he quickly got burnt out with the drama and stepped down. Corbulo unbelievably was made guild leader and he rode the horse down. Fitting as he was instrumental in ceases all growth in SoC.

So in short I would like to re-emphasize why these people caused the guild to fail.

1. Caddila- Drama queen who was a pest to druan and every other guild leader. A true freak who had a homosexual marriage in game, was intolerant of any criticism and deguilded at the drop of the hat. Wanted to use guild chat as hers and Lolies cyber channel which caused multiple problems.

2. Valkyrie- Begged to become an officer, appointed herself leader. Did nothing as leader and due to this morale and membership suffered. Had her finger in EVERYTHING that went on in the guild and pouted when she did not get her way. The entire guild had to hear her gripe about torpor and Malo until, as a guild we got it for her. A snide and back stabbling *****.

3. Patrician- An inept leader whose biggest flaw was snap decisions with no thought as to reprocussions. Responsible for the biggest negative membership month in SoC history. Did almost nothing positive as guild leader, deguilded the recruiter, split the guild in factions, and then quit and joined FN.

4. Corbulo- The guy who finished it off. Always behind the scenes bad mouthing people. This guy was as foul tempered as I appear to be, except he actually means it. Bitter and relatively incompetent. Held grudges and campaigned to get his way. Did nothing positive but plenty negative.

That is it in a nutshell. Need anything more?

Taco, had someone fuc[b]

If by "went public about it" you mean "attacked Caddila viciously and talked so much **** behind the scenes that I smelled like a pile of dung," then yes, that's a good description. I still have never seen any of these "friends" step forward, so I have to assume they don't exist. Really Taco, you're a little old for imaginary friends, don't you think? Though in your case I can certainly see why they would be necessary.

Yeah, I sucked as guildleader. I have said this, and I stepped down within a month's time. However, you won't accept anything but a Shrine To How Taco Was The Backbone of SoC as an explanation, so you can kiss my ***. If you were such a great guy why didn't Druan mail YOU his info, bucko? As far as Caddi coming back, I could have just let her back in sans vote. As it was I made her pass a vote just like a new member, which upset many in "my" camp as you call it, but I had faith she would win on her own merits, and she did. I made very sure that the only "multiple accounts" during this time were those who had actual multiple people behind them. Me and Twink, Corb and Sylphy, etc. Or do married people not get to vote these days?

For the record, the two guilds DID join. Everyone but you managed to pass an individual vote just like a new member would. I know you were hoping to get everyone in with no evaluation and have yourself lumped in with them, but "once bitten, twice shy" is how it goes. You were voted on and were losing by a rather large margin so you decided to withdraw your application and claim persecution. The truth is you received no more persecution than anyone else who has taken great pains to prove himself a complete asshat. Jinyx is a very nice guy who tried to do a nice thing. For the most part he succeeded (be recruiting the bulk of FoS2), but trying to get you back in came back and bit him in the ***.

Actually I became an officer to tag people. I was online a lot, and it made sense to have someone with my kind of playtime able to tag new recruits. I knew pretty much everything that went on because either I was online to see it or my friends would tell me about it. Furthermore, my Malo dropped in a guild group made up of (I think) 5 people, which is hardly unusual because I very rarely grouped outside of guild. You make it sound like we raided for it every day. Torpor I never got until I was 65, and the guild had absolutely nothing to do with it as I received it as a gift from an unguilded friend. Two days later I received the entire set of my 65 spells sans FA from another friend. So try to get your facts straight first before you start spouting off the old oral diarrhea.

One last note, everyone I spoke to of those who left with you when you were deguilded did so because of the manner in which it was done, not because they agreed with your stupid agendas. Had Pat issued you a warning and let you deguild yourself in a huff or stick around until you inevitably got yourself booted, things may have been very different. Hindsight being 20/20 and all that.

The idiotic paraphrase you attempted here is very in tune with your uneducated unemployable waitress persona. Moreover you failed to comprehend the point about my "friends" in this I was actually referring to you and Patrician in specific. Instead of backing me up on the cyber thing you guys took the side of the cretins. I will not even comment on the imaginary friend line.

I agree you did suck as a guild leader. But yet you kept your finger on the pulse of the guild long after you officially gave up the title. That was part of the problem.

Moreover if Druan loved you so much why did he deguild and join FoS?

Caddila won due to Vote fraud. More people voted than were actually active in the guild at that point. Sylphy hardly ever posted and I seriously doubt she took the time to consider Caddila, Twink is a brainless half wit who will do whatever you say.

The guilds joined under the false premise that it was a MERGER, not us applying to your guild. There were alot of hard feelings over this. I agree that Jinyx is a nice guy. Too bad you guys drove him to quit playing. Much like you did to Druan.

Thanks though, I have not been called an asshat in ages. Comical. Perhaps not the note you were trying to hit but a nice touch none the less.

You literally asked multiple times to be an officer. I even said to druan...why in the hell is Val now an officer and he told me that you would not leave him alone about it.

When it came to your level 60 spells you whined for weeks and weeks about them. We camped multiple mobs, multiple times. You even said crap like "THere is really no reason for me to even ding 60 without malo and torpor" It made all of us sick. Hell I died multiple times trying to get you these spells just to shut you up.

Wimbus gave you about 200k worth of stuff. Does Mike know the exact reason why a total stranger would do that?

You can speculate why people left with me, but if they left due to the reasoning then they would not have joined a guild that was going to be lead by me. At one point there was about 60 or so people mostly from this board that were apparently morally opposed to patricians actions...

I met with most of the people that where in SoC (from FoS) when I withdrew my app. I told them that I was quitting the game and that they should stay with SoC. If it had come down to it, many of them would have been outraged enough to join a different guild with me. Some left anyway (Aegis for example)

Also you knew everything going on because you literally had no life. You were constantly getting fired from waitressing jobs and making twink work 60 hours a week so that you could keep your six accounts and play every waking moment from morning to bed time. You were ALWAYS on line. I imagine that there was a time when you were more apt to answer to the name Val than to your actual name.

In short, You in specific should keep out of this. Go back to your simpleton boyfriend (who is smart enough not to marry you) and get as much out of him as you can. One of these days Twink is going to wake up and realize that you are a totally worthless incredibly lazy manipulator only looking out for yourself.

All in all, I enjoyed this chat. Please feel free to answer me at your leisure.

Anybody else's mind in the gutter when they read the title of this thread? An unwanted image stole into my mind when I read it-- that of three rolly-poley, sweating, and whitey-tighty wearing men with lots of back hair grappling with each other and trying out their Greco-Roman moves on each other. There was plenty of grunting and "adjustments" being made to each other's wrestling attire-- ugh!
