I had a trip once where I laid in bed and stared at my wall for an hour or two, watching rows upon rows of trees sprouting, blooming, withering, leaves falling, and repeating the cycle, as in drawn-out breaths. Then I started thinking about a Stephen King story (actually, a 'Richard Bachman' story, Road Work) and started poking holes through the fabric of reality.

That was my last acid trip, which also was affected by (extra) doses of Prozac I was taking at the time. That was the last time I did acid; since then I've not had any taste for hallucinogens (though I'm warming up to the idea of shrooming).

Yummy, mixing drugs that drastically affect neurotrasmitters in your brain is fun!

Just for future reference, both Acid and Prozac affect the same neurotrasmitter in your brain, Serotonin. Prozac's an SSRI, meaning that it hinders the absorption of serotonin back into the neuron too quickly, so you can get a stronger signal. LSD's going to work on those same receptors that you now have even more serotonin in.

Translation: Combinding these two might seriously F'uck you up, I suggest never trying that again.

You know, that's a basic drawing exercise anyone who's ever taken an art class winds up doing at multiple points in their education. I'd probably start laughing hysterically if I tried to relive Drawing 202 as well Smiley: wink

acid = 8 hrs of Smiley: banghead

shrooms = 3-5 hrs of fascination. A drawer...with colorful things in it.. kept me busy for 2 solid hours. then I took a half hour walk down the hallway to the water fountain. that was amazing. but most of all, after my first shroom trip, i finally understand the awe of a beautiful sunset. maybe its sad i needed to trip, but to all of you non trippers, it stimulates me more than you! :)

btw that guy had THE BEST acid ever made, dont ever take acid now. yucky.

I love acid trips. Especially day-tripping. Was always best waiting about an hour before sunset befor you dropped. Haven't tried shrooms yet. Having hardly any cow fields or the weather conditions to grow them make them hard to get and expensive as hell in my area.

hey, i had a trip once where I jumped out a moving van, in fear that the occupanst were gong to kill me, then I though the neighborhood was.... than I thought the pool was God and tried to jump in (this was in the fall)..then when the cops got there, I thought they were demons come to take me to hell.. so It took 9 too hold me down.. the I thought I was in hell in the ptty-wagon, and they also beat the **** out of me and sprayed me with mace so bad, the doctors in the hospital were gaggin..and I thought I was in some psuedo-retro Egyptian/Forrest Gumpp universal transcendantal past life flashback.... and I still wait to wake up in that pool... breathing water, to find that everything from that point til now was just a dream.. I didn't think it was real until my family got there..

and that wasn't even the last time I tripped.... That was just eh opening of the door.....

There are things far more trippy than acid my friends, like blacking out on a regular basis and praying the next day you didn't hurt anyone. Oh yeah, quite the trip, not a fun one, but a trip none the less.

I've never tried acid or shrooms. Having to come down off of multiple doses of demoral, vistaril, and imitrex after a migraine is scary enough.

..in another trip, I thought everyone could read my mind, and there was some vast government conspiracy to keep me under control, and my friends were really doctors and security officers in disguise.... and they had me magically and chemically under control so they could do waht they wanted to me.... My family wasn't my family... Nothing was waht it seemed... My home was really an asylum.... there were snipers on every roof top just waiting for me to make the wrong move... and things are always watching......waiting...for you to make the wrong move.. to say the wrong thing.... to think the wrong thought.... Karma police... and I still think that In a Way some of it is true.... though I havn't tripped on LSD in many years..

So GO AHEAD.. Take about 5 if you're going to ...... see waht happens to your "version" of reality. Just remember.. you DON'T come back..... It's like seeing your parents have sex when you're little....... You just don't come back..

Unless you have a small mind.. then trip away.. it won't matter... until it does..... and you think you're a glass of orange juice and won't move in fear of spilling yourself...

just don't take 18 at once. i heard it will make every living being on the planet disappear and you'll end up calling your parents and having them talk you back to reality.

Well Kelv,
You are kind of the reason why I said to never trip on acid. Not in a really bad way, but it's just not good to try and compete with Hunter S. Thompson. Nobody can. Period.

Day-trippin though...absolutely. The only way to fly! Sunrises and sunsets are tremendous.

I can really only do it solo now.. haven't found anyone that I can handle or vise versa.

Smash, if you read this can you post a thread on the interrim gov't, and the INTENDED role of US? please and thank you.

I have lots of fun theories and facts about Acid and how it came to become distributed.

Did you know that for most of the years between 1967 and 1995 most (85-90%) acid was produced and sold by one group of people?

Eb

Insider info.
