Why do people write "u" when writing the full word doesn't take so much more time to do and it makes you seem alot smarter. I'm not saying that people who write with this "drop all vowels or make the word as short as possible" are dumb, but writing normally makes you seem alot smarter somehow, although this totally may not be the case. Please, explain to me, why do people "typ lk diz, to mk u lk kool" or just normally with the you replaced by u. Its so annoying to read sometimes.
This was not a flame, and not trying to be disrespectfull for any of the people that do this, but I'm just wondering what the reason behind it is? Because trust me, if it is for looking cool, you're doing it entirely wrong.

And please post it above the thread that says "Don't use 'plz'" and under the thread that says "Is proper grammar and spelling necessary?"
Do I look like I care? At least I finally got my opinion out, something I was stuck with a long time.

There's a big difference between wanting to sound like an idiot with writing "u" and "plz" and not being able to properly write English because you're not English speaking.

You obviously don't know how the majority of Asylum posters feel about karma, Dean. We use it for ***** and giggles, and to get FFXI posters to leave us alone. Other than that, it's a flawed system and doesn't serve any real purpose.
Just ask Empyre about karma. I'm sure he can explain its flaws much better than I can.
