I have heard of The Drudge Report and it's very partial and well read by the newsmedia.

You've never heard of the Drudge Report? You're kidding right?

This is the guy that broke the Monica Lewinksy scandal.

Perhaps I am just more of a news junkie than others are.

The Drudge Report is also very partisan, on the right hand side.

Which isn't to say a story there isn't "Accurate", but it's probably not especially balanced, either.

occasionally? OCCASIONALLY!? I wince anytime I hear him speak. I realize that between Reagan "the great communicator" and Clinton most of my adult life has filled with great speakers but, jesus, Bush sounds like he has a radio embedded in his head and Cheney is off in the background feeding him his lines. Three words at a time.

Very true! I am a democrat and I think GWB sucks. Look at the accomplishments of Democrats. The only thing the elephants have done is sit around and spend our money.

This is a reply to the guy asking about my moped...well first of all i dont have to have my feet down by the sides of the wheel where my pantsor shoe trings will get caught in it and make me fall. I also like things that go faster and I have had no accident due to probably the weight of the vehicle. I have no problem going over bumps that would normally throw mw off my bike. I can even go offroad :D which is a nice thing.

So I'm not the only one who noticed this?

Snippet from one of GWB's state of the union addresses, punctuated to demonstrate how it sounds to me when he speaks.

"Thanks to the work of our. Law enforcement. Officials and. Coalition partners, hundreds. Of terrorists have been arrested. Yet, tens of, thousands of. Trained terrorists. Are still at large."

As though he has no actual comprehension of what he's saying.

In my opinion the President or ANY "great" leader should appear damn near infallable. I know that no man is infallable, bla bla, But I'm talking about the comforting appearance of being "above it". Out people need to look up to our President, see him as a hero, a confidant, a role-model... and all that jazz.

THIS is just dispicable, choking on pretzels, falling off of ****, saying wrong words...

Why the **** did I wear a Tie everyday at work!?!! to look respectable.. isn't that waht we we're taught?? Instead I turn on the T.V. and see our Great Leader fumbling over words and jibbering on about **** that he obviously doesn't understand. I mean Christ, AT least TRY to make him look good..... give him some speech therapy or somthing.. I know this country is like 80% red-necks, but come on.... this is just a blatent Slap in the Face of every American who has ever been forced to say the Pledge.
They say it's 'his' way of talking... wahtever.... so if I want to come in to work drooling...unshaven, with my hair dyed 3 different colors.. it's just 'my way' of looking...

**** I'm going to lunch(nap)

Oh mean like that **** we had in office with the last administration. He was a real hero wasn't he, ******' draft dodger. A confidant... you can really trust a man that cheats on his wife, even if it is Hillary. A role-model, oh sure I want my children looking upto a man that lies to the entire nation and world over getting a simple ******** in the oval office. In that the kind of President we need?

So the Bush doesn't talk the way you like it, tough ****. The man has the balls to lead the country in a time like no other president has had to and all you whiny liberals can do is ***** about his speaking style.

Being military, the only defense I'll give Bush is I love pay raises :D

He may be clumbsy as hell, but gotta give him aerobic props...the dude can run a 3 miler in 21 minutes, which is slighty faster than the 82nd Airborne standard of 4 miles in 32 minutes (or, at least it was when I was in the Army).

Seems like the only good President we'll have, will have to have been born in a log cabin.
And that ******** about Draft Dodging...... **** that ****.. If you agree with the VietNam War, you're a blood thirsty *******. I'm NOT saying that I don't respect veterans.. I'm saying that it was a sensless slaughter.. and anyone who avoided being included in that total waste of life is pretty ingenuitive.

My theories on war in general is a whole different cicada.

Get waht?? My argument is solid. He should learn to speak proper ******* English. It's not a matter of his skills as a president... it's all on how you sell yourself... Unless you're saying that he doesn't need to try so hard now sinse we already bought him. He looks like an idiot and I cringe when ever I see him. He's the ******* President, not a MTV talk show host.

So now we elect presidents on image not on political views and strategies?

Clinton was, is and always will be a draft dodger, there was no ingenuity in his dodging seving our country, it was plain cowardice.

I'd rather have a President who stutters and stammers and falls down once or twice than a lying son of a ***** who plays happy family the day after he tells the world he lied about having sex in the highest and supposed to be most respected office in the land.

To me it is the man behind the decisions and his morality, values, leadership skills and ability to make the hard decisions and stick by them that makes a good president. Not someone who looks pretty after zipping up his pants.

Clinton went to college in Britain on a Rhodes scholarship, Bush got Daddy to use his connections and hook him up with a National Guard position, the rich mans draft dodge of the day, and he didn't have the courtesy to stick around long enough to serve his full time. Yea, he's my hero.

The records indicate that, despite his move to Alabama, Bush met his obligation to the Guard in the 1972-73 year. At that time, Guardsmen were awarded points based on the days they reported for duty each year. They were given 15 points just for being in the Guard, and were then required to accumulate a total of 50 points to satisfy the annual requirement. In his first four years of service, Bush piled up lots of points; he earned 253 points in his first year, 340 in his second, 137 in his third, and 112 in his fourth. For the year from May 1972 to May 1973, records show Bush earned 56 points, a much smaller total, but more than the minimum requirement (his service was measured on a May-to-May basis because he first joined the Guard in that month in 1968).

Bush then racked up another 56 points in June and July of 1973, which met the minimum requirement for the 1973-74 year, which was Bush's last year of service. Together, the record "clearly shows that First Lieutenant George W. Bush has satisfactory years for both '72-'73 and '73-'74, which proves that he completed his military obligation in a satisfactory manner," says retired Lt. Col. Albert Lloyd, a Guard personnel officer who reviewed the records at the request of the White House.

Quote:
This proves Bush met his military requirements for the years in question.

As for the SSG Mejia that was convicted he actually deserted his unit, which he was legally obligated to return to, regardless of his conscience.

The two situations are completely different.

This is from a different thread posted by me proving he served his required time.

And this is how others dodged the draft, like Clinton.

Joining the National Guard or Reserves is not dodging the draft, it is serving the country. Just as it is now.

The last great leader of Westerners was King Arthur.(if he was even real)

But I agree, the Truth should never, Ever, EVER take a back seat to anything. UNLESS people are not intuitive enough to mentally digest the information.. this is not an argument, just an observation..

I don't think anyone will get it right until Jesus Christ sets up residence in the White House.
..and I'm going to ***** about and rag on every single one until we get the perfect leader. Our country deserves nothing less. I'm a Realist though, I realize that nothing is going to b perfect and accept it.. but stirring up the **** is waht usually gets **** done.

So far I have seen none even worth voting for.

As for the mouth guard bit..... Who the hell wears a mouth guard bike riding? Only someone planning on wrecking would even think of putting a mouth guard in. Sounds like even Bush knows he's a dumbass and now plans ahead because of it.

I doubt many of us think he has an actual speech impediment. Many of us think he actually doesn't comprehend the words coming out of his mouth.

It's so bad sometimes I often wonder if whoever writes his speeches purposely inserts words that "Dubya" will stumble over just so he/she can sit back and laugh at the "Commander-in-Chief" with the rest of us.

Actually I would venture to say that GWB's morals follow the majority of American's Yan. At least the ones that he is putting out there as his Moral's. His may not mirror yours but most others they do.
