CRAWFORD, Texas - President Bush (news - web sites) suffered cuts and bruises early Saturday afternoon when he fell while mountain biking on his ranch, White House spokesman Trent Duffy said.

Falling off a Segway, being knocked over by a pretzel.

Let's just be honest at this point, he's a sloppy drunk.

You mean there is more then one president, never knew that I vote for president number 2 who ever they are. If you mean in the historical sense you way wrong there have been many presidents who have acomplished more, under greater stress then GWB.

Just so you know tarubard if you read the thread you would of know this had nothing to do with his abilities as president. It was about him having the balance of a 3 year old.

Srry had to add this, since he is one of the candidates

Thank you mommy. Can you kiss my boo-boo now?

How come we are told to grow up all our lives, yet we all strive to make enough money to be treated like children again?

I know I was just mad earlier about hearing ppl talking about how bad bush was as a president earlier today. I know there were better ones too but i meant recent like out of the list of presidents past clinton to now he is the best lol dont call him bad names either something like that happens to us all and we're only human, its just a matter of time and the conditions under which it would happen. I fell on my dang bike alot and so i got a moped and now i aint got as much to worry about since every bit of gravel and every bump wont throw me over the front of my bike lol bye

I"m a fan of GWB...

But honestly, this is hard for even ME to defend...

At least he didn't pull an Ozzy, right? :\

If you are going to compare presidents it is always better to start from the begining, just comparing the recent ones does not give a fair judgement. As far as calling him bad names I can and will, if people do not want to be insulted in this way they need to stay out of the limelight. For falling off my bike I did fal until I learned how to ride and then I only fell when I tried to do something stupid.

No1 can ever keep from getting in an accident its allways going to happen its just a matter of time. :D besides atleast Bush is doing something he enjoys unlike the rest of the idiots. I hope he gets re-elected :D I dont want some gay hippy running for president. We would lose the war we're in.

While I kinda agree that making a big deal out of a guy getting a few scratches while riding his bike is silly, this bit just got me:

Ok. You are aware that a moped is just a bike with a motor attached to it, right? So, you fell of your bike a lot, and your answer was to ride a bike that goes faster? I don't think it was a lack of a motor that caused you to crash before. Why would adding one make you safer?

Well he would pretty much have to be the best president after Clinton to date, now wouldn't he? Being that he's the only President we've had after Clinton.

haha its amazing when people make comments like that. IMO, we need Jimmy Carter back. Clinton was also a great president, we didn';t get involved in every little spat in the entire world, we were on pretty decent terms with the world, and our economy was great. Flat out, I hate Bush, I wish he had snapped his ******* neck when he fell. I mean the ************ fell off a Segway, the most balanced transportation around.

Didn't Clinton get shitfaced and fall down the stairs at some golfer's banquet? I seem to remember that as being rather amusing.

If Bush does happen to win another term I'm personally going to take him skiing. He should make Sonny Bono look graceful (and won't blame his SS bodyguard like Kerry).

Kerry is a sarcastic son of a ***** that I would be really worried about as President. It is one thing for GW to misspeak occassionaly it would be another thing for Kerry to spout off insults of foriegn leaders or on any topic and to just open his mouth before engaging his brain in front of the press and cameras as the President.

It's not the first time he has made comments best left unsaid.

I guess I'd trust the veracity of the quote more if I'd ever heard of the Drudge Report.

Maybe it's totally impartial and very reliable. I've just never heard of it.
