To find out if your Conservative or LiberalFollow

#1 May 14 2004 at 8:17 PM Rating: Decent
If your unsure whether you are a Conservative or a Liberal, just look at how you reacted to the 9/11 attack on America.

A Liberal wants to understaaaand why America Deserved to be attacked. Liberals buy books on radical Islam and then join sensitivity groups to better grasp the plight of the terrorist mind.

A Conservative, on the other hand, grabs his AR-15 and vows to defend his home and Nation against the filthy terrorists in dirty nightshirts who murdered three thousand of our people in cold blood.

Another way to pinpoint your Political leanings is to note how you reacted after George W. Bush sent troops to liberate the people of Iraq.

If your hartswelled with pride as Iraqis danced in the streets at the fall of Saddam's brutal regime, you're a Conservative.

But if you condemned the President for his military action or if you secretly wished Saddam were still in power, you're a Liberal.

sorry I am bored.

waht am I if I just see it all as nature taking it's course?

War HAS to happen. IMHO

Man tries to emmolate god, perhaps subconsciously.
Man builds buildings and roads and countries and traditions and think that it will last forever.

Kind of like how "God" created life.. trees and animals..psyches,

but Winter time will always come.. the season of Death... and trees and plants and animals die...

Man thinks his Winter will never come.. and that the things he creates will exist eternally in a never ending summer...So we build build build and take more and more from the Earth, and give very little back.. Well nature will have it's way... and We are the ones who fulfill it... by wreaking havoc and destruction on ourselves.. Winter comes, unwelcomed, but we always open the door toit... the very door taht we try so hard to keep locked..

well, in a 1000 years it won't matter...it hardly matters now.

Hey, now, if there was an intelligent person writing that post, I completely missed him, or her, or it. It seemed to be mindless dribble originating from perverse and incredibly backwards view of the world.

You know, the one three year olds have.

At least more people are realizing what's going on in the world these days.. witness the incredible events leading up to the war in Iraq - the coordinated peace marches in cities the world over.. was it Madrid that had one of the largest turnouts at 500,000 people?

Yeah, GWB still went and invaded anyway, but at least the awareness is building. That's gotta mean something.

My one question is why do people think you either are liberal or conservative and not in between. The world is not black and white, it is full of all sorts of colours, and only someone so inclosed within themselves would not realize this. Was I glad Saddam was over thrown, yes he has been in power too long and should of been removed in the 90's, but this does not make me agree with the currant invasion. I feel at the time is was a waste of money and will not solve the problems that people think it will.

Private citizens who own AR-15s are morons on a scale I can't even begin to describe.

I think if you remove the fireing pins, you can import them by the truckload as paperweights. This would be the same fireing pin that doubles as a portreait hanging nail in most cultures.

Shocked, depressed, worried, were conservatives not shocked depressed or worried. Well then guess I am a liberal.

To understand ones enemy in order to defeat them, yep again sign me up as a liberal. Would hate to think I would say invade a country half cocked because I was a Conservative...erm wait nm.

Really funny how many of our "conservatives" went the other way when it came to service, Rush Limbaugh (bad ***, medical) Clarence Thomas, **** Cheney ( I regret that I didnt serve but I had other priorities), George W Bush ( AWOL, drunken, cokehead) etc but hell they know a lot about serving their country I served mine can you say the same?

Dumbfounded at the need when everyone but him was saying it was unneccessary, he even convinced some "liberals" of the need through his treachery and tying of this to the same ******** who perputrated 9/11. WHAT totally unrelated!!!! God well at least we get some oil money right. Oh wait that goes to Haliburton and others, um just why did we go?

I was happy when the statue fell, worried about the future and worried about why we were there. But, my deer swelled with pride when I saw them dancing and bringing down the statue, so I guess I must relabel myself a Conservative. (unfounded pride I might add as I thought maybe I was wrong and this could be simple and well done by the current administration)

Doh there I go back to being a conservative, I secretly wished Saddam was back in power. Its not like what he was doing was worse then the neglect or downright disdain that our "conservatives" have for the poor in our country. Oh but wait we dont care about our own poor but a couple hundred billion for someone elses, damn we gotta fix that ****.

I regret I responded to your obviously trolling, uninformed and unwilling to see any other side of the story's self but whelp as you so succiently summed up I was bored.

Flish brings up a good point here. With the exceptions of Colin Powell and Donals Rumsfeld, you'd be hard pressed to find a lot of military service in Bush's administration (or the ranks of prominent conservatives for that matter)While, shock of shocks!!!!, many prominent Liberals, have not only served in the military, many of them served with distinction.

Interesting, isn't it, that so many of the people that have actually seen war close up are now liberals, while those that have not are conservative?

Wow thanks for all your opinions. I saw that in a book I was reading recently. Just wanted to see how people would respond.

The book is called. The Enemy Within by Michael Savage.
It was an ok read but it was quite Bias tho.

I thought about sharing my thoughts on the whole "9/11" thing, but honestly, I don't feel like my freedom of speech would be respected. :p

sooooo... [grabs a 20ft pole]

"It's a fecking distraction to keep you from realizing that you are all just cattle."

What? Don't look at me, it was the 20-ft pole that said it.
