.. if you install this critical update, EQ will crash, your optical mouse won't work anymore, infact, none of your usb devices will.

Please spend MORE of your time downloading MORE critical updates so we can fuck up MORE ****.

That is what a disclaimer on the microsoft update should read.

Fu
ck Microsoft, Fuck my optical mouse, Fuck critical updates, and Fuck You, I'm going to bed.

Optical mice sucks. I wish they still made ball models aside from the cheapie $6.95 two-button ones. Trying to find a decent ball mouse is an effort in futility these days.

After trying different approaches to fixing it, downloading well over 40 megs of "updates", I just used system restore to bring my comp back to the way it was on the 9th. Mouse was working just fine after that.

My feelings towards all of you are still the same though.

Ahhh, yes. I try to avoid MS updates in general. Of course, that sometimes leaves me vulnerable to certain exploits, etc....but I'll be damned if it screws up EQ.

I love my optical mice...black Logitech for my desktop, MicroSoft mini/portable for my laptop.

Same "update" is trying to infect me at work

I tell it to remind me in 3 days, what pops up in 10 minutes? That's right! There are new critical updates to download!

What made you decide on two A's instead of one in the "Laa". Just a gut feeling?

Can anyone give me a good way to write what dry heaving sounds like...I've been trying for awhile now and just can't get it right.
