After following a link that one of the poor, lost FFXI people posted here, I noticed a slight change in the format and feel of the forum. There were the obvious changes, like colors, fonts and layouts, but there was a much different feel to the forum. I couldn't put my finger on it until I caught myself just scrolling down the page looking at the avatars.

On the FFXI forums, all the avatars are FF-related. I saw Ifrit, a cactaur, even a Sephiroth. So they have cute little .gif animations of random FF characters, we have suicidal kittens, homicidal kittens, platypi, and Milton in a hat fit for a cat.

I don't really have a point, I just wanted to give all of you a small glance into the psychic anomoly that is the Official Board Platypus. Dammit, if Thundra can have multitiudes of self-created threads that serve the sole purpose of inflating her already over-inflated ego, so can I dammit.

I succeed in inflating my ego, whereas you manage only to let more air out of the tire.

Ive been looking around EQ and off topic forums and i it does have different feel not just for avatars, anyways i enjoy the posts.

Ive only used Shadow from FF3 as avatar that was FF related other than that it is usually a pic of guy in robot suit attack a power cable with saw.

TILT
Some broad who used to inhale fumes and then prattle on about the future. Kind of like your average pre-teen who finds a jar of rubber cement.

Also, she made each of your temples make one additional citizen content.

The Oracles of Delphi were priestesses of Apollo, the Greek god of the Sun. They were the most widely revered oracles in the world during their existence and consulted on all manner of subjects by Greek and other leaders in the last millenium BC.
