Now that that is out of the way, I'll ask, What Would Jesus Do?

Would he:

A) Use his money to nurse the sick, feed the starving, clothe the poor?

B) Spend all his money trying to find a boat to prove that the first chapter in his biography might have actually happened?

Umm not sure what this has to do with the topic at had but if it makes you feel better the Vatican have refused to fund the expedition since 'A frivolous waste of money'

I read alot of messages on post but never really post ne my self though relgion is a very intresting topic for me i cant hold back seeing how sooooo many people have so much faith in the words IF and MAYBE. MAYBE there is a god IF there is we will go to haven if we worship him well for all those in question get to worshipping ME. i am gods 2nd son and will get u into heaven. i know no one belives me but hey it worked 2000 years ago whose to say god isnt horney as hell and happen to knock up some 3 dollar street ***** and consived me out of all of it?
but as for the orginal statemeant that smash made yeah i hope they go up there and find this "ark" cause before i die i want to know where the hell we all came from and to belive that a mythical being did it is alitte far fecthed and unbeliveable in todays socitey.
all i know is im going to live my life how i want knowing that all actions i make in life has its consinquences and rewards and im not going let some cultist aka relgious fantics convence me otherwise. and know that when i do i die i will either be burried 6 ft under or burnt to ash either way i will get alot closer to your hell than i will ever get to your heaven this i know for a fact.

What if the fanatics are right?

I mean if you're right and there is no god, no heaven or hell, well then being good or bad won't matter, everyone ends up back in the earth anyways.

BUT, if the religious people are right and there is a god, well then there's a BIG incentive to be good and believe in all this stuff. So if you're going to play the percentages, there's every reason to believe in God, and no reason not too. I mean after all, if the atheists are right, then believing in God won't have any bearing anyways.

In other words...you've got nothing to lose in the long run and everything to gain by being a christian so why not play the percentages?

Your odds aren't quite as hot as you think they are. You have to throw in all existing religions with heaven and hell consequences. Including Duckianity, which I just made up and states that you have to worship ducks in order to go to heaven, otherwise you are going to hell.

In fact, because there are an infinite number of possible hell/heaven religions, past, present and future, all of which are equally likely, your odds just got shortened to 1 in infinity.

Plus you have to act like a retarded brainwashed moron here on Earth and most intelligent people laugh at you. Doh!
