I think I should give up on the Main EQ ForumFollow

If you think the kharma system over in the OOT side is misused put some posts on the Main EQ Forum. There is a lot of nukage going on over there.

After reading Skeeter's mention of "rating stalkers" and thinking my own rating seems to have stagnated, I started feeling a bit paranoid. Do I have a ratings stalker? Hmmm. I wonder.

After pulling up the list of my posts to see which ones had been nuked, I came to the following conclusions:

I should never post anything on an item page other than cold, hard facts. Any attempt at levity earns my post a napalm shower.

I should never post correct information that contradicts someone else's post, even though the other poster appears to be pulling misinformation out of thin air and presenting it as fact.

I should never post on a Tuesday. In other words, a number of nukes have been launched that appear to be really unwarranted and fairly recent.

There are a couple possibilities.

1. It's crossover nukage from an OOT fan.
2. People in the Main EQ forum are really crabby and nuke happy.

So I'm just going to linger in the OOT forum, like a rash, and keep pestering you all (at least until it picks up here at work.)

And yes, I know we are all supposed to pretend not to care how people are rating us. I'm contrary that way.

Skeeter I didn't see the post you're quoting from in your Ode, but there's a difference between waisting and wasting. *waisting* sounds like a clothing attack similar to a wedgie only around the waist lol

I try to fix rate stalking when I notice it. If i don't notice it, e-mail me the thread in question. My policy is, if rate camping is going on, I bump everyone in the entire thread up the same amount, regardless of content. If it is just discussion based ratings, or some type of argument that is going to just get people rated down regardless, then I usually don't do anything. If it gets particularily bad, there are other methods available.
