Difference is, in the Catholic Church they think it's because you swore a vow of celibacy, and cause they're low on priests.

Actually, it wouldn't hurt if you were an Amish, either. Story ran in the Minneapolis Star Tribune about a female who had been molested over years by a father and a son. "It happened so many times, you couldn't really call it rape...she probably wanted it...She wasn't obedient-she wore jeans". (quotes from the story.) At any rate, their punishment? Son kicked out of church for 6 weeks. Actually, he could go but just couldn't talk to anyone there. "If you don't understand our beliefs then you don't understand the magnitude of that punishment"...
