Is it just me or do the promos on this film have the presumed star, Hellboy, looking like Ted Danson with horns on his head? Granted, I don't know jack about about this comic strip, but I had to laugh when I saw the teaser.

Freaking Ted Danson. Lol.

I knew he'd gone to hell after that horrrrrrible sitcom, Becker he did. That show sucks monkey balls.

Ted Danson.

Thank you Totem, that's it! I knew he looked like someone, and not Ron Perlman. All I've seen is the TV ad; I need to get around to watching some trailers.

Yeah, the previews for that "Hellboy" movie definately confirm my theory that "Batman" with Micheal Keaton was the best comic-based movie.

Anybody else seen "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" yet? Man is that a mind job. Awesome movie, but you walk out thinking to yourself, "What the hell was the writer smoking when he wrote that?" Definately a must-see, but one of those you can only watch once.

Smiley: laugh

I can see it now:

"Cheers, special guest; Hellboy!"

"Rebecca:" I know you have trouble dealing with a woman in a position of authority.

"Hellboy:" Whoa, wait a minute. I resent that. I've never had trouble with a woman in ANY position.

*laughter*

I liked the "Hellboy" trailer and although my comic book collecting days are long behind me, I'm stoked to see this film. I think it would be cool to see Ron Perlman have some success with this. I thought his guest starring performance on "The Tick" playing an alcoholic, abusive (to his sidekick) superhero was kick-***.

Anyhoo, I hope the movie will be as fun as the trailer makes it out to me - I know, there I go again being optimistic...

Bruce Campbell. Another likely contender for this role (due largely in part to his massive chin)

Ted Danson was a TV sitcom star (Sam Malone from "Cheers" and his own show, "Becker") with a few movie parts (one of the three in "Three Men and a Baby"). The dude from Blade II you're referring to is... Ron Perlman!
