One thing I have learned over the years. NEVER EVER EVER EVER get into an argument with your landlord. They are in a position to ***** you more then you can possibly imagine.
So far they seem to be going the "annoy the tennent who dared challenge us" route...but I have an idea we'll be screwed on the deposit come move out time for some stupid vague reason or another...soon as we sell our house in FL our *** is outta here and buying a new one.
