Going, going, gone.Follow

I'm out. Flying to Palm Springs (early tomorrow) and going to hang out there and San Diego for a month or so. All I can say is the weather better be nice.

If I get bored enough I might hijack my aunt's computer and log on to see what's up here in OOT. So that means I'll see ya'll tomorrow night. ha ha.

Take care, have fun, be good. Blah blah blah. =)

edit: I'm not flying out RIGHT NOW unless I grow some wings fast.

Well... my aunt's house *is* a bit like a prison at times, and I won't have a car.

Can you send me a nail file in a cake so I can escape, Tare? ;-)

Nah, just going to visit my family, see some friends, and try to kick this black cloud that has been following me around for... oh... years.

Have a fun trip!

I flew my stunt kite in Palm Springs once during Easter. Great wind currents.

Ok. Waking up in a panic does not, I repeat does NOT feel good. I can't breathe and I'm shaking.

Smiley: cry

I wonder if it's too late to pack Merri and my puppy in a carry-on?

Cut your trip back to two weeks. See? You're not as sad as you thought!!!!
#10 Feb 18 2004 at 10:15 AM Rating: Good
I'm sure (ok, somewhat sure) that I will be fine once I get there. It's just that I hate leaving Merri. We've had far too many airport goodbye scenes already.

I wonder what I'm forgetting. I have pants, shirts, socks, underwear, bathing suit that I haven't worn in about 4 years ... CD player and CDs ... headphones... two books...

I.D.? ATM Card? Cellphone? Camera?

Oh yeah and pack some skirts or shorts for pete's sake. Tan those legs!

Stay.
#14 Feb 18 2004 at 11:04 AM Rating: Good
Considered the skirts, but all I have is my Harley boots to wear. Smiley: lol

If it comes down to it I can borrow some of my aunt's clothes... we wear the same shoe size and bascially the same clothes size. Though I must admit, her fashion sense is horrid.

I'm planning on trying to swim every day. Not so much for the tan as for the exercise and relaxation.

I'll have to buy a camera there. They x-ray everything at the airport now and I think it ***** the film. I'll take pictures of palm trees for ya. haha.

Well, tis time to get ready and head off. 3 hour drive 4 1/2 hour flight. UGH.

I would but this is costing my aunt A LOT of money and she'd put a hit out on me if I cancelled now

Bra? But why? If you truly want to relax and throw over the traces, then there is nothing like unfettered and flopping breasts to instill a sense of jiggling freedom.

Hey Angua. Don't know if you'll read this once you get to Palm Springs. There's a really good italian cafe type place right on the strip (north side I think, on the right if you're driving *into* town), kinda hidden between a couple buildings. We stumbled across it by parking in a lot off a backstreet and taking an alleyway to get to the strip. Really good food. Great tablewine. Close enough to peoplewatch, but secluded enough to feel comfortable. I have no idea what it was called (there were just chairs and tables set up outside, never actually entered anything). Just something you might be interested in if you decide to go walking the strip.

Have fun!
