So.. How many of you idgets proposed, got laid, or broke it off on v-day?? We want stories!!!!

Personally mine started with breakfast in bed consisting of him, strawberries and cool whip. Toss in some roses and a suggestive card, and we were not out of bed till noon. Watched some cartoons, went shopping. Came home, dinner for two, watched some antonio banderas ( that is one hot mexican ), and some cuddling... all in all the nite has been wonderful. Thank god we have a couple of more hours to enjoy ourselves... Smiley: inlove

Tried to get a lapdance from my friend's girlfriend, but she was too tired and not drunk enough.

Nothing romantic here, major house cleaning, then shopping for a new TV, entertainment center and computer desk. Then it took 4 hours or so to put all that together, so I was too tired for anything else after that.

Old married couples... we're boring. lol

My wife and I did it right on a stack of lumber --2X4s as I recall --in Home Depot. We are searching for just the right material for our small porch which will consist of fake wood.

Look at all the rich, fertile ground for jokes in that paragraph! Wood, Home Deposit, lumber, a veritable cornicopia of laughers!

Went out to a nice dinner (nice for us college peoples) with my date and another couple. Had a great time.

Went back to the dorms and started drinking. Got a bunch of people and hit up a club. Had to leave at 1:30 cause one of the guys with us was about to pass out.

Went back to a friend's room and played cards for about an hour. Then found some place private with my lady and.... well... had to turn the music up louder to drown out the screaming -=)

So all in all, mission accomplished. Twice.

Eerie, I tried the same thing, and she declined for the same reasons.

Damn. Weird.

Smasharoo lied to me! he said roses would get me laid. i gave my girlfriend a dozen and i didnt even get to third base!

Aside from not getting into her pants i'd say i had a pretty good valentines day. i spent most of it at Nina's house "watching movies" (read: making out) in her room. in 11 hours we got interrupted about 4 times (once by her little sister, 3 times by the parents. one of which was to tell us dinner was ready). so, while it could have been better (i wanted sex!) it wasnt too bad (7 hours of making out and 4 of cuddling isnt)

oh, and who the hell breaks up with someone on valentines day. its probably the worst time (everything else being equal) to break up with someone. heck, i think it would be in poor taste to even do it within a week before or after.

These are your balls, Angry, after 11 hours of foreplay with no conclusion:

<sounds of a balloon being inflated>

And this is the sound of your balls as soon as you hit the bathroom back in your Mom's basement:

<Boom!!

It's happened to me, Hippo. She dumped me on V-Day like an hour after I gave her a really nice silver bracelet. Then she called me around 11pm and asked me to come to her house to "talk".

Well, "talking" consisted of her crying and pouring her heart out saying how much she was sorry and how the whole thing was her fault. Bah. Did I take her back?

twizted, i dont doubt that people are dumped on valentines day. i know a few friends who have been. while there are some dirty, low brow, scumbags on this forum i dont think anyone of you are evil enough to dump someone on valentines day (possible exception to mren, cause hes a bitter gimp).

While I've never done it, I see no reason to delay breaking up with someone once the decision is made simply because society says it's "THE day of romance."

* shrug *

I mean, it's not like it's their grandmother's funeral or anything. That, I'd delay it for, most likely.

Mine was rather "quiet" homewise. I worked, stayed a bit late due to the overwhelming number of assinine people that equate gambling with a romantic evening, and came home. My partner doesn't live here, so I read a sweet email from him, had a bit of enlightening phone time, and called it a night.

Oh, and Katie, you DO realize that Antonio Bandares is NOT Mexican, right ? Course, that probably doesn't make a difference to you.
