South Dakota is about to pass a bill banning most abortions. Here is a direct quote from one of their legislators...

"When we're considering an innocent life, the health of the mother is not a substantial enough justification to take the innocent life," said Republican (duh!) Rep. Matt McCaulley, chief sponsor of the bill.

I bet Matt McCaulley has to pay for sex.

Yet I would be willing to bet that if you asked Rep McCaulley if he supports the government paying for support to properly raise a child born to a mother who died in child birth, he would say no way. So the basic stance is do whatever we can to make sure the child gets born no matter what. Then ...... He's on his own.

I wish smaller government meant that people would stay the hell out of my uterus.

Unless I invite them in, of course.

The worst part is, everyone knows making abortion illegal doesn't stop it from being done. It just stops it from being done safely by licensed doctors.

Come on, people, it's South Dakota. They are a couple of evolutionary steps behind the rest of us. Cut them a little slack. :)

I like this thought process! Can we make drugs legal too now? Hell them being illegal doesn't stop anyone so let's just legalize it!

I'm not big into drugs, but the fact that alcohol is legal and weed isn't is that alcohol was and is a major industry in America. Look what happened with prohobition in the 20's.

Legalize it!!

While you aren't being serious, there are pilot projects about giving people a safe place to shoot up, and providing them with minimal amounts. There are people who need to support their habit, so on their way to healing why not give them a safe place? Keep them off the streets? Who are you to say some young addicted kid should be forced to sell their body for sex and then shoot up in a gutter? Maybe you should think before you try and say something smart.

I take it back. Men would also have to HAVE babies before I'd consider their efforts to control our reproductive organs as something other than tyranny against women.

whoa cut us some slack i agree that a womans body is her own business but most the the **** anti-abortion F*ckheads are woman who think they know whats best for everyone. Not a male vs female issue it's a control freak issue and effect both genders.
