Y'all are some long winded mother f*ckers. That second page of the evolution thread is long as hell. A request please...

GET TO THE DAMN POINT, ALREADY!!!!

Scrolling through that encyclopedic assemblage of verbal diarhea is painful.

Has Smash been on that thread? I can't rememeber. These things usually end up with Smash and gbaji posting page-long diatribes at each other, with point-for-point (or line-for-line) arguments. Like, for example, the socio-economic-political debate on....wait, which thread is that? Saddam/WMD?

we also quickly lose sight of the original point. Smiley: grin

Oddly enough, that one is staying pretty much on topic.

I do find it kind of amusing that you'd never know you're getting into a three page debate on evolution, creationism and the public school systems by reading the thread title Smiley: grin

It's sort of diverging off to be about the Good Book itself though and away from its creationist roots.

Yeah the thread was staying on topic there for a while, but it looks like its about to change to a less than interesting topic. Oh well, was fun.

Damn hijacking somanumbeeches. And the arguments to make the point are getting dumber too.

Well really how many ways can you say "The Sky is Blue" before you just start rambling on? =P

I want to make a public apology for starting that damn monster. It's three freaking pages long now, and I have made..three posts I think.

Well, "Georgia's Superintendent is a f'ucktard" would have been a little much.

Actually, the original topic was the absurdity of the article I linked. The rest...well, I guess someone took offense to me calling the woman a f**ktard, a ****, and a bible pushing a**hole.

Again, sorry for creating this monster.

That is all.

*Shrug*

Seriously, big deal. The forum is full of threads about trivial crap. It has it's share of threads about serious crap. It's full of threads of crap about which no one cares except a couple people. It's full of threads in which 99% of the posts have little or nothing to do with the original topic.

If some people want to debate religion, politics, economics, abortion or whatever other hotbutton topic upon which the sides will never agree, who gives a rat's ***? It's the OoT forum. It's intended for this sort of shit. It's obviously amusing for the parties involved. Do you think either Smash or Gbaji seriously believes they're going to convince the other about their point of view? It's verbal sparring; a chance to hone your thoughts and ideas against someone else and maybe score a couple points.

If it bothers you, just move on along to the next thread.

Or better yet, "Why don't you go outside, and play Hide and Go F'uck Yourself."
