Shamelessly riped from David Letterman.

I don't guess Edwards plays a musical instrament.

The subject of Edwards' list was: "Things Never Before Said by a Presidential Candidate."

10. "Vote for me or I'll slash your tires."
9. "Forget universal health care — I'm buying every American an XBox."
8. "In a crisis, I ask myself, 'What would Tony Danza do?'"
7. "I'd give you my plan for economic recovery if I wasn't rip-stinkin' drunk."
6. "If your last name begins with 'M' through 'Z,' sorry — your taxes are doubling."
5. "We're gonna cut the deficit by selling North Dakota to Canada."
4. "I have tons of experience from being president of the Burt Reynolds Fan Club."
3. "Lady, that is one ugly baby."
2. "When I'm president, I'm putting Regis on Mount Rushmore."
1. "Read my lips: no new wardrobe malfunctions."

So his way of making a new top ten list is getting an old one and changing the number 1 spot to something current?

Bah.

They should hire Kao, he makes better top 10's.

He was on Bill Maher's new HBO show.

He seems pretty cool. Don't know much about him, anyone have the lowdown on him?

Edit: ....hrm

He made his money as a personal injury attorney.

You be the judge.

IIRC on HBO he made it sound like he was some "pro-bono, I'm cool and for the people" type.

So, he's basically a tool..

I'm sure that he has done some pro bono work. But I don't think he earned his estimated worth of 70m by representing the Soup Kitchen

IMO that is Edwards weak link. Other than that, he seems a likeable genuine populist. As a VP may help with the southern strategy if Kerry doesn't drop it completely. Kerry mentioned the possibility he may skip the south entirely and concede it to Bush, another worthy debate.

"He made his money as a personal injury attorney."

Interesting how Republicans separate one type of lawyer from another. Corporate lawyers are da bomb, but those damned personal injury lawyers...damn them for winning moneys for people 'injured' by others' negligence and willful misconduct. How dare they!

How dare you call me a Republican. What have I done to you to deserve such harsh treatment?

I ask myself the same question whenever I get in a bind.

You're a tool.

Personal injury lawyers are by and large the scum of the earth. Ambulance chasing leaches filing nuisance suits because some dumb jackass decided to slide down the banister of a mall stair case and cracked his tailbone. Nice work. *** hats who file a $50,000 lawsuit for "pain and suffering" until they realize you only have $25,000 worth of insurance, then they offer to settle for that.

And if I read correctly, no one was making a comparison to corporate attornies. I am the biggest Republican you can come in to contact with here, and I think they are all life-blood sucking, bottom feeding, self important f*ck-tards, from the ACLU (read: Antichrist) crusaders to personal injury leaches to chief counsel for most companies in America.

Ambulance chasing leaches

Here in the DC area, I think they've upgraded.

I'm seeing a lot of these "Professional Emergency Response" vehicles running around, look exactly like real ambulances.

The only way I was able to tell it isn't a real one is I was driving home the other day, and saw what looked like an ambulance with a back brake light out, and upon closer examination I found it wasn't an ambulance at all.

Reminds me of back home, where people started taking shoddy vans, sticking a freezer in the back, and calling themselves an Ice-Cream truck.

What happened to our sense of pride, damn it.
