How many times, if ever, do you write a reply to something, only to hit the back button without posting it because you change your mind? I don't do it all that often, but there are times when i'll start to post something, and then decide it is stupid or pointless, or in some rare cases too mean and then not post. That happen to anyone else?

If not, erm, uh, what kind of cheese do you like best?

Nah, I do that a lot. Especially when I get to the point of "Ah, whatever I say won't matter because this person is too enamored of themselves to care" which can happen quite a bit, on this forum.

Camembert. Mmmmmmmm

The scary thing about this post is that I was thinking about posting this exact question here today on the drive in to work this morning.

Scary...

Yes, I do it as well.

I do it all the time. Usually because I start a reply, then get side tracked by work only to return to it and say to myself "who the hell gives a **** what I think" then hit the back button or quit IE all together heh.

Quite often. Usually because I spot something grossly erroneous, but am just too tired to argue about it.

My office uses Lotus Notes as it's e-mail tool. I find that I constantly hit Save as Draft rather than send. The buttons are right next to each other. Poor design, damnit.

Yup, I do it quite often. Sometimes I don't think what I was typing was worth the effort of hitting post and other times I get bored and change my mind.

I do it all the time. Sometimes I re-write two or three versions of a post, only to have the one I actually intend, be eaten by the board. (or my browser)

I used to do that a lot when I was new. Back then I was concerned with what people would think of me ... but the longer I'm here the less I find I care.

I used to, but then I lost all credibility when I spammed the Final Last thread and now, according to Tacosid, I'm a step below Angry when posting an entire album of Alice Cooper lyrics.

:/

/sigh

PS: But I'm not above correcting small typographical or grammatical errors like the ones previously found in this post

Not often. I am not afraid to say what I think. I call it as I see it, and **** what anyone else thinks.

You problem isn't cowardice, it is thinking quality. You see quite often, I type the first thing that comes into my mind, then on reflection, I realise that what I was going to say is stupid for a), b) or c) reasons. Also sometimes I change my own mind through the ability to reason both sides of an argument in my head. This sort of ability is a characteristic of intelligence.

None of that made sense did it Katie?
