Interesting story though...how many of you losers would donate sperm or eggs? I might have done it if I needed cash for bail or a life-saving operation (who am I kidding? we have virtually free health care here) but not anymore. I mean who wants 15 kids showing up at their door one day!? Yay! That's a lot in back allowance.

I had a friend in college that was going to sell her eggs and was trying to tell me how fantastic that would be, how helpful... I don't know. I understand that you may be helping someone to have a kid, but I don't want anyone showing up at my door 15 years later expecting me to have feelings for them.

Sky News did a poll asking people with the new law coming into effect would you donate sperm/eggs?? Came back with a big fat ZERO would do it, i see a law change not making it into the books or if it does it will disapear very quickly.
Well, no sh*t! Who would want to be the father or mother of 15 kids, all mewling and grabbing at your teats?
That said, I had a friend who donated sperm, back in the day when you still got paid for that kind of thing, and he made 5000 dollars in a summer. That's my kind of summer job!

My wife paid for college by donating two eggs for $50,000 each. It's a bit more invasive than doanting sperm though.
