McNabb is hurt. We're struggling again. Dropped two key passes...

Nooooooooo. We can't lose again. We just can't.

Philadelphia Eagles, the Buffalo Bills of the new millennium.
Just think, the Panthers were a 1-15 team the first time Philly made the championship game.

Well if I don't post tomorrow, assume I drank myself to death. I finished two bottles of wine with the game and now I'm hitting the wiskey. I'm just frigging tired to losing year in and year out. Nobody suffers like a Philly Sports Fan.

Drink water before, during and after the whiskey. Lots of water. The only preventative, from my experience.

Unfortunately, I had the experience of watching this game with a friend and his family, all Philly natives. I have never seen so many crushed and sour looking people in all my life as I did tonight (well, I didn't look in a mirror when the Titans lost a few years back...).

The officiating was horrible, the play where McNabb got hurt should have been a damn late-hit call. Then they should have yanked him out after 2 INT's, instead of letting him throw one or two more.

Regardless, I feel for all the Philly fans.

I'm not an atheist and I got it from God personally that he's offended you don't believe in Him and is taking it out on Philly.

No appearance from Alla yet... guess the whiskey got him. /mourn

I felt the same way watching the Titans lose last week. I knew they wouldn't be able to pull it off, but I was so hoping...

Haha, I can beat even that! I'm a Chicago sports fan.

The Bears had one good season, '85...

The Bulls are getting thoroughly embarrased this season...

The Blackhawks are below .500...

...And the Cubs fans' motto is "next year", which almost happened this year. Mark my words, that fan is going down...

4 great teams and God has it in for each and every one of 'em. *sob*

Doesn't look any better today either. Groan.

Yes Philly sports is far worse than Chicago or anywhere else. We haven't had a championship in 20 years, longer than any other city in the US with 4 teams. I believe in that time the Bulls, Bears and Blackhawks all won one or more. The Phillies are the all time losingest team in sports history - look it up. No team in any major sport has lost more games than the Phillies, and in their entire long history, they have won all of one world series. The Eagles have gone to all of 1 Superbowl in their entire history, and lost that one. Despite recent history, they have traditionally stunk. The Flyers are still living off the broad street bully years, now 30 years old, and haven't done anything since. Their usual MO is to get to the playoffs, get your hopes up, and then self destruct in the first round. The Sixers had a good run with Doc, but that was more than 20 years ago. Now they are AI and a bunch of nobodies and are just painful to even watch. Rooting for Philly sports is setting yourself up for a long run of disappointments. Now even Penn State sucks, so we don't even have that to fall back on.

/me contemplates moving.

Nah, HE/SHE (Hey, just playing it safe) loved the 'skins in the 1980s, 3 Superbowl visits/2 Superbowl wins. Although I live in San Francisco, I'll always root for the 'skins since I was born in D.C. and grew up just outside of D.C. in the Maryland suburbs.

Even as bad as the 'skins are doing this, um, last 2 decades (doh!), at least they made it to the Super Bowl. I'm sure someday they'll get another chance...just not anytime soon. Of course, I heard they're bringing back Joe Gibbs, one of the best coaches in the NFL ever...

I feel bad for those teams who have yet to make it to the Super Bowl.

Final Fantasy is down today. That's why the site is slow. We just ordered 3 new servers from Apple. Hopefully, once they arrive and get set up, we won't have speed issues for a while.

Cry me a river about not winning anything in 20 years. 1917!!! The Red Sox haven't won since 19 fing 17!!!

All we Boston fans have to comfort us is 16 Celtics world championships, A super bowl win, a few stanely cups..ok never mind you're worse off.

At least you have Temple basketball!

You guys think you have it bad I have Ohio sports to look at. The browns suck up everytime they get on the field and haven't really been good since about the eighties. The Indians can't play for crap since the early and mid nineties when they had a good team but still couldn't do anything with it. The second football team we have, the Bangels, was the worst team in the NFL last year and they started to make a comeback this year sort of. W have the Cavs who have sucked for many years now and have a ray of hope getting LeBron but he's injured right now. Our WNBA team from cleveland I think wqas just broken apart because there was no profit coming from them. Not sure about hockey but I bet their not that good. We have no superbowl wins from the Browns at least and We haven't won a world series for some time now I can't even recall when that was probably before my time. At the moment I'm a sports atheist for Ohio.

Whew that feels better. I've been needing to get that out for awhile.

Hey, don't forget about Ohio State. I'll admit, they won the BCS Championship last year, but how about this season? Seems the only thing that kept them from going to a decent bowl this year was a little academic "help" and some insurance fraud...

I mean c'mon. Clarett failed two classes his freshman year, and you know what they were? Physical Education and African-American Studies... HES A BLACK FOOTBALL PLAYER!!!

Maybe its the Michigan fan in me (btw i was at that game this year, at the Big House, when Ohio State got crushed), but man did they ever suxxor without their precious number 13.

Yes I'm sorry I forgot about the only succes Ohio has had lately when I posted but then remembered later and didn't have time to change it but they suck now anyways so it doesn't matter maybe we'll win another championship in another 20 years or so just maybe.
