Just me and Anon here tonight. Ugh.

Just got out of class. I am taking a Linguistics course for the hell of it. The professor became so enraged with silly student questions that she picked up her stuff and left an hour into the class, without a word to anyone.

/shrug...never seen that before.

In other news, I had a nap at work today. It was very refreshing. Later, I heard that I am being moved to a new, larger office. Maybe Atomicflea and Angua are on to something here.

You don't even know. I am arguably the most respected person at my job, and sometimes I even take a pillow into the bathroom with me. In front of everyone.

The thing is, only management would dare to do something so bold! So if you do it, surely you are management material. =) Either that or they'll fire your lazy ***, so be careful.

Damn, Flea, we're a bad influence on people...

It's a mess, isn't it? I was quite the litte worker bee until one of my directors got drunk and ditched a board meeting and got off with a warning, but her associate, who wrote a piece for publication and did not clear it beforehand, was fired on the spot. After that all bets were off.

I'm wrapping up my contract with Yahoo! Inc. (2 more weeks until gainful unemployment! Whoo hoo! - The other morning while sitting in a bathroom stall reading "Sourcery" by Terry Pratchett, I hear a gentleman two stalls over (the handicapped stall, mind you) snoring away. Sounded like a lumber mill, heh. I couldn't stop laughing.

Only other time something like that happened was when this older gent I worked with a couple of years ago drifted off to sleep in his cubicle. I only knew he was asleep by his loud snoring, which was a relief as when I walked by I thought he might have taken the Big Sleep...but then, I guess there would have been a smell of sort, eh?

My cube-mate falls asleep all the time. Since he works till midnight, there's rarely anyone around after 8pm so he just sits back and rumbles away like a distant thunderstorm. Until I roll over and elbow him in the temple, that is. Smiley: sly

I think I would draw the line at sleeping in the can. Pretty filthy in there. What if you fell over and got a face full of toilet water? Or if someone farted and woke you up? Nah, I'll stick to the warm and comfy confines of my office. Just need space to roll out the sleeping bag.Smiley: snore

My building has 4 bathrooms, one for the executives downstairs, one for "others" downstairs, one for the executive upstairs, then us accountants have our own bathroom up here.

All of them are single person bathrooms.

Lol, oh! Well tell him to get his *** in here!

And no, I wasn't talking about you. I could give you the benefit of the doubt, but I've never seen you in person to be able to tell if you are hot and have a fine ***.
