Chris Isaak on the Launchcast made me think of this. Others include Sade of course, and strangely enough, Nine Inch Nail's 'Closer.'

songs that blatently say "do me" or subtelty?
Marvin Gaye "let's Get it on" works well

"Wonderful Tonight" by Eric Clapton has gotten me laid a few times.

"Jackie Wilson Said(I'm In Heaven When You Smile)" by Van Morrison. is the song im currently trying to woe a girl with... might ask the board for an opinion about this later but still deciding if i want to be tortured :)

Good one, Murth. I meant songs that set the mood, so to speak.

A lot of music can say "Do me" for me. It just depends on what kind of "do me" we're talking about.

Night and Day is a good song, don't remember who sings it.

Al Green.

It's been too long since I've been broken off so it's not a good time to list songs that say do me. I'll get back to this one when I'm only thinking with one head.

Musiq Soulchild has some good music too.

Tempted to say Barry White, but you don't want your woman to be more attracted to the singers voice than she is to you.

Well, I wanna make love to you tonight
I can't wait 'til the morning has come
And I know that the time is just right
And straight into my arms you will run
And when you come my heart will be waiting
To make sure that you're never alone
There and then all my dreams will come true, dear
There and then I will make you my own
And every time I touch you, you just tremble inside
And I know how much you want me that you can't hide

Subtlety (sp?) is over-rated. So, "Do Me Baby" by Prince would have to be it.

But Sade's "Ordinary Love" has to be on the top of my list.

The ultimate Do-Me Song is Ravel's Bolero.

for me, oddly enough i was listening to "Slayer: Angel of Death"
the first time i got laid.

hence, death metal used to do it for me when i was a kid :)
nothing like dropping a tab and fu'cking like animals to slayer!

i quite literally just made out with my girlfriend while watching an alice cooper concert DVD no more than 10 minutes ago (had to go home, wraaa). Sure, i dont think she actually liked the music too much (she has a mild apathy towards the coop) but it was kind of a trade off. i watch the lion king with her and then she watches alice cooper, heh.

She's a keeper, and clearly digs you to make out with you despite that stuff.

Live has always done it for me. Moby (Play rocks), Enigma, Tool. Pretty much anything I listen to incorporates sexual energy, so it all at leasts whispers "Do me."

That's what you put on when you're getting ready to do it. It's an odd choice for getting someone "in the mood," however...

Much like that one Donna Summer tune in the 70s, pretty sure it's the moaning.

wow, arent you observant. oh wait...

apparently you missed the part where i alluded to it having nothing to do with what music was on. since you couldnt figure it out last time so im just going to go out and say it up front, "We were watching dvds and got the urge to make out while watching them. It was purely by coincidence that we were watching an Alice Cooper dvd. my reasoning for posting it was not to give you the idea that if you ever decided you wanted to get some that Alice Cooper is the way to do it. It was solely to provide a mundane and boring anecdote. In conclusion, go to hell"

I don't know why, but Deftone's "MX" seems to be the only song I've heard lately that's got the mood to it.

Now, there's a memory.

And a great song. I think I'll sleep on it.
