I been busy lvling a lot of jobs and when I need something I just farm for it. I haven't made myself a dependable income yet.

Most I would have on me is 30k at any given time and even that would go fast. :/

I farm gil at qufim and fort ghelsba with gilfinder. I don't have the patience to deal with camping and competition for NMs. As for crafts that requires a lot of farming or gil to start up.

At least I make decent money to get appropriate gear and spells for my jobs. :D

I started in July this year.

So this is my 3rd month of playing.

I have 37 days of playtime since I have no job or school.

Damn I'm a loser. LOL

btw. I know a lot of wealthy people, but what's the point of stating who is rich? Only more people would beg them for gil, so I'm sure most of them would like to stay anon. So other than Sagaxxxx like you've mentioned, I won't mention anyone for the sake of their privacy.

I had peeps begging me for money lots of times.

Sometimes I wonder peeps just like to beg instead of working for their money.

Farming sucks a** but it pays for my gear and spells.

I play FFXI almost every waking moment since I got it. With no school or job I just lay on my bed and play play play.

Having a ps2 version is nice like that.

Currently I'm lvling whm for tele since I'm tired of farming gil. I can take my time with whm since they get invites like no tomorrow.

The tele business is not that profitable because so much peeps do it but if I can make 5-10k an hour that is decent enough for me.

That way when I lvl Sam/thf it will be outfitted with all the best gear.

SAMs are awesome!! Don't know why they are not more recognized. :/

I leveled Woodworking to 30 recently and barely lost any money at all. Crafting doesn't cost that much unless you buy everything from AH.

EDIT: And Cloudx is damn rich.

The most money i have ever had was 300k gil. For which i purchased a Monster Signa. Everytime i have money i spend it on better gear. I think my gear is ok. I have +47 CHR at level 64 BRD.

1.7 mil of Xbc's is mine and another 2.5 million he owes to Slayer, the guy owes quite a few people, I wouldn't put him on rich list; besides he doesnt have as much gil as he booasts...he won't tell anyone where or how he got it; my guess is he bought it or someone gave him a crapload of gil. He *supposedly* doesnt bot didnt farm it and didnt buy or craft it...not many other ways. Besides hes a total dick, which makes any credit he did have worthless.

Well I heard from a reliable source that a certain someone sends people xbc's way. If Xbc wins the other person doesn't pay and if xbc won he would pay. Xbc is cool with me. Never had a problem with him. We've partied a few times deecent exp as well.

I usually keep 80% of the gear I buy. I have a mere 6 mules, might make some more. Running out of space.

Well, I've never sent anyone Xbc's way; but by far I'm definitely not the *only* one that dislikes him, I have perfectly valid reasons to dislike him...but if you think there isnt a line of people who think he is a utterly complete jerk, you are wrong.

Oh and yeah he usually does pay when he loses, but not if he loses large amounts; this isn't a lie, he owes multiple people. Large amounts, I'm refering into the millions.

so? you would deserve it, you stole my gil, I'd only be taking back you WONT pay, so that's one person I thought I could trust everyone sucks in this game seriously; you're a little puss that won't pay me and everyone else is a tattletale

I'm often times asked and even begged for money. This is annoying people. I'm not that rich. Plus I'm trying to save up for a Scorpion Harness to make my life complete lol. I do, however, try to help out friends if they need to buy something but don't have the funds. I've given away well over 600k and have 925k out in loans to friends right now *vomit*.

Keep in mind, if you loan to people you know and trust, your probability of getting screwed over goes way down. I receive money on-time from about 90-95% of the loans I make. And yes, there is sometimes interest involved, but usually no more than 2-3%. Let me know if you wanna buy a house. I'll supply you a mortgage :P
