decent day, 3k from 63, hit 28 drg, 35 nin, farmed 50k and am an insomniac for making a post at this time (3am hawaii)

Yesterday I died a record time for myself. 8 times in one day... :/ first 4 was in eldime necrophilias trying to get my paper. Gave up after the whole party got wipped out. Went back to lvling so I wouldn't delevel the next time I died. Got an invite to Garliage Citidel and joined the group up there got some exp then got elemental aggro escaped and started back only there was a train there so we sneaked and invisible and went by then my sneak wore off at the wrong time and got killed by a beetle and bat. Our whm accidently started a citidel bat train on top of that and someone called a gm on him. But we all got raised and all was good. Then we started pulling undead and things went downhill from there (died the next 2 times during that). But at the end of the day I'd got as much exp as I'd started and no level cap items.... Wasted day in my book oh well I think I've typed enough.

Ok, saturday evening was spent on Genkai III, we made some Royal coc* ups (excuse my british slang) and it led to quite a few deaths, two of which were mine.

Castle Otrozja, our thief died trying to open the gates, he drops invis at the wrong time or something and got swarmed by IT Yagudo, then he died after using perfect dodge, allowing everyone to get their crest. The rest took their time, so he died unnecessarily.

Davoi was just, blurgh, I ran into the Orchish Warlord by accident and he spotted me with that true sight of his, I died two steps away from the zone from Bio, there were no mobs for Mijin Gakure. Next, someone >.> Got aggroed at the island with the taru NPC, from healing, it ran up and brought a bunch of IT friends with it, luckily the others had time to escape. Our thief died trying to open the gate too, bad day for him ; ;

Beaudeux was as easy as pie, our BLM still died, ran into a room with Quads, with no sneak, but we finished in 15 minutes.

Was I happy to have that over with...

Then I partied later and got level 61! Woo Spikey Katana's and Amemit Mantles~ I'm guessing that's what Khaelus was referring to

Didn't do much monday, at all, but tonight I level NIN, and then I hope to get back to Monk.

Eep! Better save my thread~

Ok.. I'm taking a little break from Ninja, a week or so, just to get back on my feet from strenuous high levels. I recently bumped into Khaelus, he was helping a friend get their Bomb coal so I join in on the fun, then had a nice chat as he completed his PLD AF2, Grats Khae ^^

Yesterday, I helped out with RNG AF3, Scary battle, even scarier to tank at 61, then levelled WAR/NIN to 37, I never have to level my sub again! But I enjoy it, so I shall.

Today was Monk day, got two levels, now i'm 47, so close to 50 I can taste it.. Again, I'm looking forward to my orange pajamas.

Rank 6-1, Maybe 6-2 tomorrow, nothing much else to report ^^

I took a long weekend and mostly just messed around. I did help with various things, bomb coal like Burli mentioned, killing Porphyron for someone's mission 3-3, getting someone a piece of RSE, lots of raises and cures, escorts, etc.

I FINALLY got a chance to fight some pirates when I was going to the Maze of Shakrami to help a friend with RSE. I was afk on the ship until I heard the music, so I only managed to kill about a dozen pirates, but I got some pretty good screenshots. ^^

I also farmed a lot, leveled SAM to 9, WAR to 27 and got my AF2 for PLD.

Keep it up with MNK Burli and we can party!

Well after I got off 52, parties have been coming fairly frequently, so I'm rather pleased with that. At 53 I got my Garlaige coffer and later went by myself trying to coordinate with jpn players on getting past banishing gates to find the chest. Found it and opened it without dying after 2 1/2 hrs of sneaking around, so I'm glad I could do that without a problem.

At 54 I decided to buy a promise badge and 2 mnd+3 rings, an increase of 9 in mind over my previous set up on Chi Blast. And wow what a difference that made. I was normally doing about 80-200 dmg depending on boosts and now I'm hitting 250 easy only after 5 or 6 boosts. It's fun shocking the hell out of everyone putting up 400+ on a fully boosted Chi. Current record is 470 and looking to improve on that when I get the mnd+5 on my AF head piece at lv56 (1.2k from it).

Last night wasn't too pretty. Sat in Lower Jeuno waiting for a party and a 60mnk was shouting for AF3. So I asked if I could join despite being lv55. I got a response from him saying "Sorry looking for lv60-65". Well wtf... If there's any job that helps out each other, it's gotta be monk over any other. He had one other person with him at the time, so you'd think any extra people would be helpful, but no. I was about to blow up on him but decided against it, and soon after got a tell for a party in Boyahda Tree. Went along and got 2.1k during my first mithkabob. Nice xp compared to recent pts I've had (one took over an hour to get a Freeze burst to work...). Then came the fun part. Just after using a kabob, the brd, who was pulling, cast Requiem on a mandy and ran off to let herself die. In the meantime, the whm left but was replaced fairly quickly. After we get going again, get about 3 kills and the brd pulls a link with a crawler. We should have had no prob except the pld used circle blade and hit 2 mandies nearby. BLM escaped, but not before the whm and pld died. After we got back, the blm warped the brd, and a rdm joined. After a few more pulls, someone attacked a mandy cuz they were on us again. WHM died again and I think the PLD again. By this point it was almost an hour and a half getting about 1.5k after the first half hour. We go about another 10 minutes after everyone heals again and the whm says she has to go. The drk had only 900 tnl, the rdm 1.3k, and I had 2.1k. So the whm decided to stay for the drk but not the two of us. So I was a bit frustrated not getting my lv after that nice start. Should be able to get it tonight, even if I have to solo some Soldiers in the nest.

I had a pretty good day playing. I'll make it short though.

I work shift work so i was limited in time as to how long i could play.

Started out the day 13k away from lvl 64 NIN. Joined a great party and headed to Boyada. Got a respectable 9k Exp. there and then guys started getting sleepy so we disbanded.

Around that time, my LS was planning on doing a beaudeax (sp) coffer key run so i joined them there and got 3 keys in about an hour. That was pretty good.

Logged and headed to work. Today, hopefully i'll hit 64.

I have mainly been helping people and messing around with lower jobs, raising SAM, RNG and NIN a little bit. I did get PLD to 52 the other night and out my AF boots on, that was nice.

Grats on MNK and rank 7 Burli. You won't see too much of me on the server forum though. Too much drama and LOOKING for things to get upset about for my taste. This is one of the only threads I look at outside of the requests for help anymore.

Had enough room on my mule to level my cooking to 77 from 76.5. Can't do anymore of that until the stock of goodies I made gets sold.

Got my whm (my bards subjob) to 34, which means I don't have to worry about it until my bard gets to 67. I'm at 64 right now, and there are only about 31 ppl my level, so... leveling slowly but surely.

Got summoner to 19, just couldn't get the 1k needed for 20.

Anyone else notice that we don't have many ppl on anymore? We used to have over 4k, now I don't see it going over 2.5k.

Last night was pretty fun, went to the Labyrinth of Onzonzo after maintenance to get a few hours in, While hanging around there, we saw The Lord Of Onzonzo, Yup THE dropper of the Kraken Club, currently around 30 million gil on our server? If I could get my dirty hands on one of them.. ::drool::

Then we saw Ose, nobody seemed interested in him though, he dissapeared a bit later however, so may have been killed.

Managed to get around 7k exp in 3 or so hours, it was slow due to competing with other parties, they really need to make faster spawns on those Torama. Puts me about 14,000/30,000 Into level 61.

Tonight is lowbie levelling jobs, we take a level 10'ish into Maze Of Shakrami, then head to Korroloka Tunnel at 14, In a day, even a night we make 10-18 easily, possibly 10-20 if we have the time to go to worms in Qufim. So, if any of you lot want to see if there's space, send me a /tell (Preferably someone I know, random people scare me and I cry, a bit)

Got about halfway into 56 and wanted to try out Genkai 3 by myself. I was able to solo Beadeaux pretty easily despite having to run around cursed for the most part. Then tried out Davoi and ended up dying twice just touching the banishing wall to even get the mini-quest for the crimson orb to get through it. HP'd the first one and got a Raise III on the second, so lost about 1750xp total. Got the orb without a hitch and finished that portion of Maat's little test. Scoped out Castle Oztroja as much as I could and that one doesn't look too bad, just need another person to come along.

Parties haven't been too bad; about 3.5k/hr on average over the last couple parties (3k to 57 now). Last night I was in Gustav Tunnel taking on gobs and crabs there. Towards the end of our party session, a gob popped on a pull and linked with the gob our thf was pulling. Focused on one and the brd slept the others (3 mobs total, Mercenary, Shephard, and it's leech). We had 2 mnks and the other mnk hit 100 fists (mine wasn't available) and we got through the Shephard pretty quickly. And just about the instant we went to the Mercenary, he suicide bombed from about 4/5 health. Instant later, everyone's bar shot to 0 and I was left with about 300 as the leech still slept there. I was so shocked I was literally frozen as to what I should do, try to run to zone, fight the leech, or run in circles? Well I took option C, but luckily it disappeared before it woke up. Was luckily able to get a whm to give our whm a raise II, thanks Jez! lol I just thought that was rather humorous

Last night was kinda crappy for me. I paid 20k more off of my leaping boots debt from my friend (not bad), then headed to Kuftal Tunnel to try and get some of my AF3 Quest done. That was the crappy part, considering I died twice. Normally I can run to Kuftal without any problems with agro. This time a cactuar decided to pick on me and did 1000 needles halfway into the fight. I died and deleveled, but luckily a friend was around to raise II me and I got my level back ^^. After that I finally got to kuftal and was ready to look for a coffer. I found out the hard way that tigers agro on sight and now I'm 58 again with 600 tnl :P Oh yeah, I never found a coffer ><

Tonight I plan on getting my level back and a nice buffer. Wee

Well yesterday, I did the Gustaberg Tour! You know, that Bastok quest when you have to get a full party of level 5's and head out to North Gustaberg? I was levelling RNG, and got to 5, but was invited to a party of 3. I accepted the invite, but was going to explain to the newbies that they should solo to 10, but I just said that we could do the tour instead. Took a while to get the other 2 members, but we got there eventually! Great fun, and a great bunch of people!

Thanks to all you guys, it was different from the norm of levelling, and I felt proud afterwards that even at level 5 we can accomplish something! ^^

I had a great weekend, starting with Thanksgiving.

Belated HAPPY THANKSGIVING all.

I was pretty busy having fun in RL this weekend and/or playing City of Heroes. I played my MNK for the first time since I got advanced jobs and ended up tanking in the second jungle. That was interesting. I did manage to get from 30 to 33 in an excellent party yesterday. GREAT job Thalos, Realta, Omegared, Lonewolf, Theforsaken and Dei<something>.

Oh, and I got the opportunity to here Jgcn in the jungle until I turned my shout filter off. Something about training people as a 29 BLM.

Well this week has been kinda tough on my FF playing time. I work shift work and this week, i can only be on late at night and i get tired after a couple hours.

Yesterday, i helped a LS member get his chest in crawlers nest for part of his AF and bury whatever it was so he could get it.

Also that day, i helped another LS member get the Castle Oztroja 60 cap part done. Congrats snipps :)

Not much lvling at all except a very good party tonight i just got out of. Ended kinda abrupt but we were all getting pretty tired. About 11k exp, no deaths, overall pretty easy exp. And best of all, didnt use many Shihei's :) YaY Those crabs were missing like a mad man, i was loving it.

Ok im gonna stop rambling. Hoping to hit 66 this week sometime. New katanas!! Then lvl war and brd for a lil bit.

Bought my sniper ring for 590k ^^. Yay for the price going down! Now I still have 350k and I don't know what to buy. Maybe the Emp pin will go down enough :O.

Haven't been getting too many xp parties lately so have been doing a few other things. Though when I do get in parties, they've been going pretty well; I'm now almost halfway to 59. Anyway, I've also gotten my AF body piece which, I might say, rocks. I sure get a lot more /checks when I'm wearing it in Jeuno. Just need to get my AF3 done now which I'm hoping I can jump in with an alliance that's shouting for it. In the meantime of being bored I've done rank 5 a few times, finished Genkai 3 (and did it again), NIN and SAM NM's, Castle Zvahl Coffer hunting, Fei'Yin chest key hunting (for tele quest), leveled blm to 24, and even played hide and seek in Gusgen Mines. Unfortunately I need to make, or want to I should say, 2.1 million gil for Spectacles by the time I reach lv59. So I'm not really in a rush to get there until I can afford those. Such a long ways to go...

Edit: Oh forgot to mention I broke 1000 dmg for the first time while in Gusgen. Hit a Ghast for 1180 with Raging Fists and only with Thief subbed too^^
