I want to try and create a thread that will let us get to know each other, so, I have created the "What did you do today?" thread. Now, you can come here as often as you like and post your recent accomplishments, or you can find me in game and slap me with a trout

So, I'll start.

Recent Accomplishments-
Well after camping the Valkurm emporer for god knows how long, I managed to farm the money up and bought an emporer hairpin, plus a load of other crazy equipment. Also, my static has finally started up again, and I have gained two levels in two night, with the purchase of a life belt.

And did I mention not enough people play Ballista?! PLAY BALLISTA MORE!

Ok, I'm done for now, have fun people.

Went from level 11 to 15 in the Maze with a bunch of mages.
1 Galkan Thf/Rng + 5 Tarus Mages + Maze Makers = Great party.

I do Suggest that if you go there with melee make sure they have ranged Weapons or you may die :(

Today i did not have to work so I got 2 lvl's in the boyhada tree, now i am lvl 54. Lets see, i also bought my light and dark staffs...tomarrow i plan to look for the garliage citadel coffer key O.o

Early this morning I logged on to briefly check my delivery box before work and while standing AFK in ru'lude this huge alliance of japanese players comes and stands on my head...then Moll, the leader, sends me a tell "<break> <limit> 2?"...
so he sends me an invite and low and behold, i am the final member in a 18 member alliance going to do Genkai 2! This could not have worked out better, I was dreading putting this together myself!! NOw i have a free ride! I followed this huge Japanese alliance not understanding a word...but you know what!? I got the quest done and now i can get to lvl 60...Just goes to show you that sometimes you just need to be patient and not stress out about stuff!!! THANKS MOLL!!!!

Today I went stood in the dunes losing me eyesight from the blinding brightness of the area for sevral hours defending Selbina from lower level killin goblins like I do nearly everyday. I planted a tree in hopes it will make me a lil much needed cash, I changed my job about a zillion times trying to figure out if I should level, and then I went fishing and went from 32 to 33. My such an exciting day. I just may have to do it all again tonight.

I've been camping Leaping Lizzy. Not for the money though. I just want the boots. No luck yet. I got one kill with no drop. I have like 8 stacks of lizard tails though

worked, well I'm at work as I'm writing this. Nothing exciting for me at work.

Well, I've had a busy few days, The saturday after getting 50, me and my static headed to Garliage to get Bomb Coal, The bomb was dropping two at a time quite regularily, so we invited in a couple of other people to give them the leftovers. We then headed to Eldieme for the Liches. First we tried going via Battalia, no luck, so we took the Xarcabard, Beaucedine Glacier - Battalia Downs Route. We found a camp and pulled, liches, and more liches, finally a paper drops, our WHM gets it. Now, we didn't expect to see anymore that night, but after around 7 hours, we managed to find 5 papers, one for every static member (one already had a job past 55).

The next day, we all grouped together to fight the NM on the ship to selbina for my Ninja Hakama (level 52 leg armor). Resonator, our fast as lightning claimer RDM , was already on the deck with it dia'ed, before I could even open the door. The Fight was easy and I had some very nice shorts to look forward to wearing.

Recently I have gained level 52, half way to 53. Was left at 600tnl when trying to get 52 for my hakama so ended up soloing to 52 in Western Altepa Desert.

All in all, a great weekend, and good times since then

I know im supposed to say what i did today so basically today i tried to lvl my drg in dunes, but the dunes suk and i only got one lvl =( also i helped someone get kazham keys AND helped them get rank 3

p.s. i spell bad because im stupid silly! =P

Sounds like fun Autumn, setting up some people for SATA seems to be like performing heart surgery, they just don't get it.

As for me, I'm being slack, I haven't been posting what I have done "today", but days after.. Shame on me!

Anyway, last saturday I went to hunt the coffer key for my level 54 Ninja Kyahan, In Sea Serpent Grotto. I went as me 53NIN with Vadne and Toyomoyo (53 WHM, 59RDM). Now, we got to our spot and slayed Sahagins for what felt like ages without a drop, maybe 3-4 hours, can't remember >.<. Luckily, a level 75 Monk (Yassen, great guy and japanese player) was farming in the area, camping an NM, so he killed Sahagins for us. Finally, Lavi, a friend of ours, comes as his 62 THF, and we venture deeper in.

Now, getting to see the SC of Asuran Fists --> SATA+ Dancing Edge, made me want to fight stuff for longer, before the key dropped. But in about, 30-40 minutes of clearing the zone, the key drops, and I'm a happy bunny.

So, me and Lavi head back to Norg, change our subs to WHM for sneak, and return to the coffer spawn points. Now, we wait a bit, and set out.. and there it is, the coffer! No bearing in mind, there was no one around to compete, I still rush to open it, receiving my Ninja Kyahan.

I get swarmed on by four sahagins, a crab and a blubber eyes as opening the chest removes my sneak, and I go down too quickly to even use Mijin Gakure. De-levelling to 52

Lavi says he will raise me, and starts to clear the area, two Sahagins link on him, and he's down to 7 HP, before he sleeps the shagin with sleep bolts, and Divine Seal- Cure III's himself, before continuing to pummel the sahagin to sleep. After finally finishing, he raises me. I Mijin Gakure back to Norg, before looking at my status and realising I re-levelled at the raise I was very Happy.

Recently, I static partied on thursday, got 11.5k exp in 3 hours, so I'm 1.5k tnl, 54, and I can wear my Kyahan!

hhmmm what did i do.. or do you mean everyday.. I work!! which sucks by the way. do you know how much game time i'm losing here to pay bills and make a living. geez.. stupid work. oh yea I play FFXI ^__~ and then ocassionally i sleep when i get a chance. although with Star Ocean out and Fable coming out.. it is gonna be hard to split my attencion three ways damn i need time to play these.

well, since i haven't been able to play /yet/ (/angry, /fume, /upset, /cry, and /panic) I blew my Aden's Renkei Chart v. 2.1 up into a full 2x2 skillchain poster. mwahahaha

What a turn of events... Got lv33 for my thf and Viper Bite on Friday to bring my 2-day total to 5 levels, but it's been pretty horrendous since. I've waited in Jeuno, Sauromugue and Garlaige for a party and haven't had one since! What gives?? In the jungles I don't think I had to wait more than 3 minutes to get a pt and now I've been party-less for 4 days. So I've been bored out of my mind standing around watching other people fight. And all I want is to get to lv37 so I can be done with thief! But it's been so frustrating I just want to skip it and head back to Qufim to continue my war on my quest to get them both to lv37 (yet it was from a lack of pts that made me quit war at lv22...). Too bad soloing the last 4 lvs would take like a month or I would do that instead of waiting

This maintenance isn't helping either. I had most of Monday and Tuesday to play but can't because of the stupid maintenance. So I've been subjected to playing at like 4:00 am when no English players are around (and not enough Japanese ones in the low-mid 30's to try to start a party with).

Aye, watching my gardens grow is more exciting than this...

I was supposed to be helping with PLD and WHM AF of friends today- But now the maintenance has been extended, I don't get to play until 2am my time, again..

I'll still do it though, don't want to let them down.

Even though pushing myself like this, leads to a lot of falling.

A good monk will never forget their roots, it's such a fun class to play, It was the first job I levelled, and I recently went back to it, after the stress of ninja, it's a great release, and well equipped and well played monks come into their own.

You know you'll slip straight back into monk, like a foot into a slipper

As for me, Got 14k exp levelling last night, so I got level 54, and I'm 2.5k to 55

Tonight I'm getting 55, then doing Genkai 2

I'm sitting here at work, bored out of my mind. I switched departments at my job. I went from slow paced, with no work to slow paced with tons of work. I saw the person next to me almost fall out of his chair as he almost fell asleep.

I would be happier if I knew I had CoP today. I guess I'll do something else, level some job, fight fenrir or something. ciao.

I have been getting back into the swing of the game. My Static Party, became frustrated with AF's, Experience Points, Finance, and Schedules. We have decided "God's Speed to 60!!!" where we can regroup and go from there. Anyways, I am 10.5k TNL(57). I assume your Static Party is full Burli, but I thought I might ask anyways, if you ever have to pickup a Red Mage, I am planning on being on tonight. LOL Good Luck, and its nice to see what other people are doing throught their day.

Well I must say the Eisen set looks pretty slick, although as with any other armor, there's less to it when a mithra is wearing it. And oh, the examination, what a pain...

Since my last post I have gotten to 35 with war and so I need 2 more lvs then I'll be done with all my subs barring any level cap increases. After this I'll hit up some of my mages to take a break from melee and probably take up some cooking as well. I've got tons of time as I'll probably wait for my gardens to make enough money for Cross-Counters before I pick my monk back up. I'll at least want them before I hit 50, so there's 3 lvs to spare. My smn is lv15 so I'm looking forward to the lv20 avatar fights; it'll be fun! I also sold my Fuma Kyahan for 290k to help out my financial struggles; I figured that the STR+3 from my RSE gaiters was better than the Haste+3% on the Kyahan.

I'd take more Haste for nin or mnk anyday of the week. For example for a ninja each percentage of haste equal 1 less second on the recasting time. From what I recall 2 Str equal 1 dmg. I would take a haste item anytime I can over str.

My Fuma Kyahan is for my monk so I don't have to worry about recast time on Utsusemi, but I can see the point. But being a mithra monk, the strength is a better bonus to DOT, and str+3 may add 1.5 points to damage, but also adds points to your base damage when figuring out damage output. I think Effen's FAQ in the the monk forum talks about this. But I do have the Brown Belt to add Haste +8%, so the extra 3% doesn't seem that big of a loss.

Over the weekend I finished up leveling war, then started on summoner. Just got to lv20 last night, so tonight I will level up my summoning skill (currently 55), and be prepared to take on my first on Lightday tomorrow morning. I'll probably try out Shiva just because I'm from Sandy. Plus from what I've heard, Shiva's one of the tougher ones so it'll be a gauge on how well I've prepared for the avatars.

Burli, Haven't tried Ulegurand Range and Lufaise meadows yet?
