I would like to let everyone know that ClanDestine, an awesome social LS, is recruiting members of all levels.

About us:

ClanDestine was started at NA release by Mujuru, a taru BST and all around great guy. Eventually he moved on from FFXI, and passed the reins over to Vedder. Vedder took charge of us until his "side project", Immortality endgame LS, got too big for him to handle both. He passed leadership of ClanDestine on to our current leader, Gomwyn, who has made recruitment of more high-quality people a top priority.

We pride ourselves on being a friendly, helpful group of people. As Mujuru said - "I, for one, have no desire to adventure with asshats." We're mostly adults in our 20's and 30's, though we have some teens and a few geezers that are 50+, so the conversations will tend to reflect that sort of group. What this means is that we don't try to be "family friendly" but we also don't react well to people who are drama llamas, or who are *too* vulgar. We are welcoming of people of all races, genders, and orientations.

I've been expecting this post for a long time now, since January, I think it was? Oh well, better late than never!

I gotta vouch for ClanDestine though, it's been a great place for a lot of great people for a long time. Definitely the place for be for newer players learning the ropes.

My new BST could use a good social shell, gets lonely soloing with only wabbits to talk too. I will have to keep an eye out for the people listed.

Depends on what people need.

We have a couple solid statics, CoP and Assault, as well as xp statics. Someone just started a group doing all the Sandy missions 1-10 - that's still in the process of getting off the ground. Someone else just posted gauging interest in KS99 "The Hills Have Eyes". Another member is organizing a group for Swift Belt/Codex farming.

Our Fearless Leadaru is currently coagulating a list of everyone's needs/wants so that we can figure out what needs to be done and who can help with it.

Does that give you a feel for things? On one hand, we aren't a really event-oriented LS - we are very laid-back and social. On the other hand, if there's something you want to do, most of us will be up for helping (as long as you ask politely, give some notice, and aren't whiny - but I think that's just a human-nature thing.)

I've been looking for beginner help. Does your group allow people who know next to nothing about the nuance of this game? I could always come back later.

Yes we are still an active shell and are interested in recuiting new members that are looking for a friendly social shell.

Although we are a Social Shell are members are very active when it comes to Missions/Quests/ Etc and many events are organised through are LS web site.

New and Experianced players are both welcome.
