After five and a half years, I'm hanging it up. Just wanted to thank all the people I meet, received helped from and had the honor of helping. If you would like to stay in touch, send me a PM for e-mail and stuff.

Take care and stay safe.

Good Luck Algren. It was good to be able to talk to you in game.

Sorry to see you go, Algren. I still remember running into you way back when and misremembering your name out of Clavell's Shogun. =P

Best of luck in life! And if you get bored, come back and say hello.^^

Gonna send you a PM. You're a great person man, I hope we can keep in touch and that you enjoyed your years in FFXI.

When I was first playing and my highest job was PLD65, I was camping Sewer Syrup and had a friend on his way to help me. You guys ran by and selflessly killed the NM and gave me the drop, and I've never forgotten that. You've always been the exact kind of player that I've enjoyed being around, and you will be missed sir.

Recently, I myself entered "retired mode" -- rarely log in except may be to fish 1 hour and log off. I do not think I want to officially cancel my account yet as there is still "unfinished business" -- mostly I want to see the end of WoTG, and I still have love to my character Smiley: glare. Paying for the account is not an issue anyway for me (I spent 9-10 bucks lunch everyday anyway><).

All I have to say, community is what make this game the way I liked, and the decline goes with the declining community aspect for the game, and I am not going to write a thesis about that. Especially been more busy nowadays, there are a lot of alternatives to spend free time that is less stressful and less patience trying. Works sucks enough already :P

I will gladly log in in evenings if there is a need of help -- just give me a message if you need me at a place at a certain time.

PS: I will see you (Algren) around definitely on Facebook -- my latest new toy:P

My wife keeps trying to get me to sign up for Facebook, but I did that on Myspace a few years ago and everyone I didn't really like in high school found me, I fear a repeat of that. :P

Similar note:

I just got The Last Samurai on Blu-Ray; which btw, is the most GORGEOUS movie you could watch on Blu-Ray.

Made me think of you, Al. hehe^^

You don't have to accept people as friends if you don't like them lol.

I see how it is Algren... I come back and you leave ;)

Yeah, I typed that right... I'm back... Currently waiting on my acct info for Warf, so right now I'm a little Taru THF named Spoch. Pronounced Spock ;)

Hope to see you in XIV, that's actually the reason I came back.

Welcome back Warf.

I also came back after hearing about FF14. Started up a Galka BST to kill time till 14, since BST was my very first 75 I wanted to relive the trip again.

Mustang is still in the state you saw it on KI. I need a house of my own to rip her apart. While housing prices have plummeted in San Diego, just not enough for me to take advantage of yet.
