Also, he promised us free ice cream when he wins! And Fridays off! And MTV in the cafeteria!

I don't know about you, but this seems more like torture than a reward.

Would you rather I put VH1 in the cafeteria?

Thanks for the nomination, and the votes, I feel special XD

Furion rocks. I heard he once saved a truck full of puppies from something really really terrible. True story.

They were en route to a George Micheal concert, but I was able to avert them from that horrible fate.

Last time I voted for Furby, he lost. So I am reluctantly voting for him again...

It's obvious that no one really likes him. I just feel kinda sorry for the guy and all... ^.~

I secretly nominated myself and made 55 accounts to vote for me, you're the only real vote :P

Kidding, thanks for the support, getting votes from people that I don't even know, that's awesome.

Was told in game and ran over here to vote. I don't even know Furby in game, but I've heard so much I feel I do.

Neck and neck now with bsphil. If Furionstormrage loses to someone who is on "Ragnarok, I believe" and was nominated because he knows "maths" I'll be really disappointed in Cerberus.

Thanks a lot Numps, I appreciate the support.

I think you are in LaCosaNostra, which is an LS that is run by a couple of my oldest in-game friends. I pop in and hang out whenever I can, and I recall seeing you there ^^.

Friendly bump, since the polls close tomorrow!

Here's Fur's/NCCoda's write-up from the PotM thread:

Quote:
Name: Furionstormrage
Server: Cerberus
Reason for nomination: "Furby" has long been a fixture not only on his own server, where he is well known for his overwhelmingly generous and magnanimous nature, but also in the online milieu, where he works diligently to contribute to the discourse on tanking and a variety of other subjects. One only need to skim through his "Extensive PLD Gear and Food Guide" to understand the scope of his dedication to the job and to helping others. He has been a good friend, and despite manning the helm of his own renowned endgame shell, he never loses his temper, and even those with whom he has disagreements come away respecting and liking him. He rarely seeks any personal rewards from his efforts in organizing endgame activities (to the point where his shellmates must levy all manner of good-natured threats so he will lot on something he's been wanting), and is always willing to help anyone with anything at all -- one of my earlier experiences with him was when he cheerfully offered to help my CoP group complete the airship battle, which is no small investment of time/gil/etc. I can think of no one else who I feel, from personal experience, deserves Player of the Month consideration more than he does.

And to vote, go here! Player of the Month

It's been a long time coming and he certainly deserves it.

Congratulations, Furby!

How ironic, I just signed a deal to make "Furby In Space: Tanking Saturn", coming to a theater near you in Sept 09'. :P

Does this mean that the 9 part miniseries on "FurionZERO tanking Godzilla" is out?

Well, I'm at least keeping the parts where you explain the best possible resist build for his Atomic Breath move, the insights on how to build for both Fire resistance and Lightning simultaneously are remarkable.
